Iâve literally been waiting for 25 years for someone to open an Indian restaurant in Jackson! Considering the wait, Parma is close enough. At one time, I traveled to neighboring cities where I could enjoy Indian cuisine regularly. Now, it is a rare treat. Open less than a week, Iâve already visited twice and will be back asap. My first visit was the highlight to my birthday! The owner, Sunny, is my new best friend. He is one of those people you come across thatâs genuinely a pleasure to speak with. As of now, the restaurant is geared more towards take out as the kitchen is located in a gas station. A small seating area is available for dining in as well. This area is quite clean, neat and orderly. I would prefer a more âtraditionalâ restaurant feel with traditional Punjab music as I feel this adds to the experience but Sunny has expressed those are in his future plans. Iâve tried just about everything on the limited menu so far. Everything was extremely delicious. On my first visit, Sunny recommended a type of chicken (the name escapes me) that my girlfriend and I both agreed was the best chicken weâve ever eaten. On my second visit, my kids agreed with our assessment. The other dishes more familiar to me, such as Chicken Tikka Masala were extremely delicious as well. Vegetarian options, such as Palak Paneer, are available and lacking nothing that a meat eater will miss. I am truly thankful for this little gem to now be so...
Read moreWhile driving on the highway, I stumbled upon this incredible gem of an Indian restaurant, and it turned out to be an amazing experience! The food was absolutely fantasticâI tried the Chicken Tikka, Butter Chicken, and Biryani, and each dish was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The butter in the dishes added an extra layer of indulgence that I absolutely loved.
What truly stood out, though, was the warmth and friendliness of the people there. The staff made the visit even more enjoyable with their hospitality. On top of that, the restrooms were impressively cleanâsqueaky clean, in factâwhich is always a bonus when youâre traveling.
If youâre ever on this highway, I highly recommend stopping by this place. Great food, great people, and a great...
Read moreSorry guys, not upto the par. Not what i expected, one of most horrible chicken meal i ever had. Absolutely ZERO Flavour in Chicken Tikka Masala. Remember you are on an interstate that is not too far from Canadian border and a lot of Canadian drivers commute through there and they get some seriously good Indian food options back there so you guys need to step up your game to attract that Clientele. Again it was absolutely Zero or no flavour Chicken and it was my first ever meal from here and was a huge disappointment. Also food is not made to order and is prepared before hand. On the side note, the guy who served me food (Deep) was super nice and welcoming, he is the reason i gave two...
