Cleaned up Google review:

This place is tucked right at the mouth of a creek that feeds the Lehigh River, making it such a neat location. The erosive force of the river dances in harmony with the curves of the Appalachian Mountains, creating a breathtaking view from the far bank.

The establishment is large and spacious, with plenty of nooks and crannies where you can find privacy. Whether you prefer one of the few fire pits, a table overlooking the creekside, the game room, indoor arrangements, or one of their covered outdoor bars and tables, you can enjoy food and drink service wherever you choose.

On this particular evening, I decided to clear my head with a little fishing since I arrived during the dinner hour and knew there would be a wait for my food.

It's unfortunate that for every bad review, there are at least 10 outstanding reviews that never get posted because people have other priorities. While standing in the water, I overheard comments about the quality of the food and the treatment of servers. Unreasonable expectations and ignorance in understanding the process of food and beverage distribution often lead to negative reviews. Tonight, a group of individuals left a one-star review and displayed nothing but rudeness and misery from the moment they sat down.

It's a shame that restaurants don't have the opportunity to defend themselves and their staff members against those who express their dissatisfaction with belittlement and reprimand towards the server. Servers rely on tips as part of their income, so there are no repercussions for customers who complain about the timeliness of their order when they arrive during the dinner rush. This lack of character is truly despicable.

Every time I've been to this place, the food and service have been outstanding. It can get crowded at times, especially during themed events, so be prepared to wait. I must warn you, the gumbo is in a league of its own, but it's not always available since they make it fresh and it's very popular. I highly recommend trying it, just make sure to get there early.

Before posting a review, I urge you to sleep on it and think about the world outside of your bubble. Use logic and set attainable expectations. The pace at which servers work for hours on end would be overwhelming for many of those who feel the need to write negative reviews. Spreading your misery at the expense of others is unjust and affects the lives of those working hard to provide a...

If I could give this place a 0, I would. Our first visit in June was excellent: our server, entrees, and atmosphere were top notch. We even stayed to drink more as we enjoyed it so much. The second visit was last October, and we sat inside. Our server barely checked on us, our food took long, drinks were forgotten, and everything was mediocre, yet we bragged about how wonderful our trip in June was to the friends we took along. We thought it was simply an ‘off’ night. Our last trip was this October. The server sat us inside although we asked to sit outside. She told us outside was closed, yet after seating us inside, it was only then she told us we could have sat outside, but we’d have to order from the bar(?). Upon asking for our drink order, our server had to clarify with the bartender from across the room, and the bartender seemed irritated about this. My water was forgotten, so I had to ask for it again. We tried very much to show empathy for our busy waitress, however she was assigned only two tables, and when seeing her smoking a cigarette outside when making a trip to restroom, it was difficult to understand why we weren’t checked on, or given water, etc., even for a busy night. Then, when taking our food order, my husband ordered the pasta, but was interrupted by our server, who informed us it was no longer on the menu, and hasn’t been for a long time. We ordered medium rare steaks, which were served medium to well done, and loaded baked potatoes, which were very old judging by the brown color they were at the bottoms. When showing the server the brown potatoes, her response was strangely defensive instead of apologetic, and no offer for a replacement or discount was made; a bill was instead handed to us, with no more words. Our night was ruined, until we went to Joey B’s in Palmerton. Go there instead. Their staff, food, and atmosphere is far better...

Wondering if this place is under new ownership or is hurting from COVID? I haven't been here in a while and my husband and I decided to go. True, it was only 5:15pm when we arrived but the parking lot was nearly empty which surprised me. We were seated outside, which is what we wanted, but then we're told we'd have to order our drinks and food from the bar! Seriously??? My husband went up to order for us, and needed to pay then. A screen came up asking if he'd like to leave a tip! Before we receive our food? When no one was serving us? That was either presumptuous or confidence! Hubby said he had 3 choices: 18%, 25%, or 35%! WOW, I have no words. Call me mean, but my husband is way too nice sometimes and left 18% to which he received an eye roll from the girl who took his order. Before anyone replies, my husband and I are GREAT tippers. We both work and have worked thankless jobs and have gone out of our way to let a manager know what a great server we had, and we've been known to be super generous around the holidays. It also bothered me that one of (I guess) bartenders came out from behind the bar with a pair of those yoga shorts that are often mistaken for underwear. This was no young girl either and her butt cheeks were hanging out - not exactly appetizing!!! The menu used to have way more choices and this place was known for its homemade condiments, but my ketchup was totally Heinz and the BBQ sauce was straight out of a bottle. I was super disappointed - especially since we drove all the way from Stroudsburg! Now, I did give 3 stars because a server did come over and got us more ketchup, bbq sauce, napkins, and was sweet enough to reheat my husband's baked potato when he asked for more butter and sour cream. Honestly though, she was the only good thing about this place. Sadly, I don't think we'll...

***Consistantly Inconsistent about sums it up.*** It is never the same. Workers, food, other guests... you just never know what you are in for. I have been here a lot, because the outside is awesome, you can bring nice dogs, and they typically serve food pretty late.. However, more often than not, I find the food really disappointing. Food aside, this place is a must see in the summer. It is so HUGE, and there is a ton of indoor seating plus like double that outside. ... I had given a 5 star review in the past, but in the years since that time it just gets worse every time I stop in. From a crazy mean bartender, to just bad food (even items that I previously gave glowing reviews). Maybe I am hitting bad nights, but I just couldn't leave my 5 Star Review up there. I hope things get better, as this place is a gem. .... Stopped and got some food during the pandemic. Loved sitting outside.. And actually enjoyed the chicken Cheesesteak and fries. Seemed to be a good night. ... And just stopped again in 2021. The Ribs looked great, but didn't sit well... you can make your own guesses. And good luck figuring out their hours or phone number. Either they don't answer, or it is wrong. And I understand the weird hours with everything, but it would great to post them on all your media so people can keep up. Anyhow, I guess the moral of the story is, you go here to hang out outside. The food is a gamble (and to be fair, I am ALWAYS here late at night, so maybe that is a factor). I am sure I will go back again at some point. The lights and fire pits draw me in like a moth.

I'll preface my review by noting that I've been coming to this location under different names since I was a little girl. Have spent time at Walck's as a kid, and then Riverwalk, as a 20 something partying. I think the previous owners had really dropped the ball on the food and also the service in recent years and it was a letdown. This is such a unique space with ALL the potential in the world. Cut to 2025, some folks from a brewery in the Lehigh Valley along with a Sicilian family with food industry experience have collaborated to take this beast ON. And take it on, they are!! We went in yesterday for an early dinner on a weeknight, and enjoyed some outdoor bar seating. We were greeted by the hostess, and 2 different bartenders as well. We enjoyed the brisket nachos, juicy burger, homemade perogies, as well as the Belgian white beer they make at Seven Sirens. All was VERY enjoyable!! Great job to the kitchen staff and bar staff. Management came to greet us and chatted for a good 15 mins and explained what they're doing & we enjoyed letting him know how happy we are to support a local business where our money feels valued and service felt like it was easy to them. That goes such a long way and I cannot wait to see where they will go. Kudos to Jordan. The only note I can add for criticism is that I wouldn't bring a large party here until their seating gets fixed eventually cause the picnic tables are extremely uncomfortable & I will opt for bar seating everytime. Thanks guys & gals, and keep up the great work.

I stopped in last week and they were out of all but two beers so that’s when I left that parking lot for my final time. As a local, I’ve been to the Riverwalck many times, under old and new management. I’m truly disappointed with how the new ownership turned out and I know I’m not alone because they’re the talk of the local bar scene. The food can be “ok” but the service is simply sub par and everyone is on the same page with that. The wait times however, are an absolute joke with most instances taking up to a hour to be sat and at least another hour to eat. Lots of promises were made when Seven Sirens undertook this endeavor and we really had high hopes but so far they’ve failed to deliver. I’ve seen so much constructive criticism online but it seems management is more concerned in censoring the negative feedback than learning anything from it. Instead of deleting/blocking anyone who is critical, why not just listen and learn something? From here to Facebook, you will not find a single instance where you actually owned a mistake and apologized, but I suggest you give it a try because people are tired of hearing the speech about cleaning all the rodent waste and slapping a new coat of paint on the place.
