TAVO'S Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Parsons

The food was ok, but there was so much wrong! We ordered monster nachos. My son asked confimed it didn't have tomatoes on it. His plate came out with tomatoes on it and no cheese sauce. When I ordered mine I said no vegetables at all and it was absolutely imperative that no onion be on mine. My food comes out and it's a whole salad including onions. Before the waitress even set it down I said "that's not supposed to have any vegetables and was very important not to have onions and there's onions as well. When she brought it out it looked OK, looked like they over compensated for my son's lack of cheese sauce. I go to take a bite and I found bits of lettuce, pepper and onions, so I'm almost positive they picked the veggies off mine. We would have just said never mind and just left without eating at all, but we are not from the area at all, had been on the river for several hours, had almost no service to find a restaurant and picked the first place the gps would grab service. were starving and had 2 hours to drive and pick up my other son, so we just went ahead and ate. The location in Parsons is the worst place for customer service ,for food and placing to go orders ever!! Young blonde girl ( Mackenzie)had messed up my order that we paid over $17 for fajitas and she would replace my full order. Today, when I spoke to her she lied and stated she would replace it with a dip!! I asked to speak to the manager Juan, he had the nerve to say she told him that she would replace it with a free dip and I informed him that is NOT WHAT SHE SAID and she’s lying or why else would I waste my time calling about my replaced order????!!! Seriously, what in the world makes a sorry manager think he can replace a messed up order with a free dip!! Their prices are overrated for a small town like Parsons and he definitely needs some serious customer service skills bc majority of restaurants who want to keep their repeated customers and to make it right for the order they messed up, should replace it and great restaurants do replace it!!! However, despite your position, both of you will get your karma served to you one way or another!!! I was told by another location, the blonde headed girl is bad about lying to the customers when they screw up an order!! SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!

I like their food but what you get is not consistent??? So for all the following 3 visits, I ordered a chicken chimichanga and following is what I get lol (Dear owner, if you read this, please let me know what an actual order of chicken chimichanga should consist of lol)

1st visit- TO GO. Got free chips& salsa and 1 roll of chimichanga and rice & beans and a bowl of salad.

2nd visit- in restaurant. Got free chips& salsa and 1 roll of chimichanga and THAT was it without any sides. I had to pay extra for beans and rice but later I found out that beans and rice was supposed to come with that meal according to the menu?

3rd visit- TO GO. Got free salsa but no chips and this time 2 rolls of chimichanga and rice & bean and a bowl of salad.

So I still don’t know what an actual order of chicken chimichanga should consist of lol, food is tasty but little salty. Staff service is hit or miss. Wait time for food to come out is average of 30 min (I’ve been there Mon night, Thurs night...
