We went there for a Bachelorette lunch, party of 10. Food was good but can be improved. As for the carnitas, I was disappointed. Under seasoned. The pork had a sour taste to it, as if it was reheated or cooked the day before. And yes I know the difference between sour orange, lime or lemon juice in meat. That distinctive sour bad food, you recognize it when you taste it. I even asked the server if it was cooked today, he said "As far as I know, yes." I should have sent it back. I threw up a couple of hours later. The rice portion was very little, flattened on the plate to appear more than it is 🙄 price was fair for the food. Friendly staff, food came out very quickly, establishment was clean. I don't live in Mississippi, I was there for the weekend so just be careful. It could have been a faux pas from the kitchen crew so I'm not condemning them for this dish. If you question the quality of a dish you're paying for; send it back....
Read moreGreat food and service, just off the beach road. While located in a simple strip mall the interior is large & clean. The host & wait staff have always been friendly, efficient and open to special requests when taking our order. The chips are hot & fresh and their salsa has a pleasant zip. Their hot salsa has a real zing to it. All of the meals we've ordered included generous portions of fresh, hot food. The Chili's Rellano are large peppers (poblano) filled with thick, gooey cheese, dipped in a light, crisp batter served with red or green sauce. The burritos, quesadillas, tacos, salads and chili verde have been great choices as well. While it's hard to pass on fresh seafood while on the coast, we routinely enjoy taking our favorite...
Read moreOur kids wanted Mexican food while we were on our trip to the MS Gulf coast. We ended up at Margaritas by chance and man did we luck out. My wife and I lived in Houston, TX for numerous years and we don’t eat a lot of Mexican food since returning to MS because we haven’t found any places with the quality of food we were accustomed. I ordered the Enchiladas Locas with the tomatillo sauce and they were hands down the best enchiladas I have ever eaten. My wife and son had the chimichanga and raved about them. My other son and daughter had tacos with rice and beans and raved about them as well. If we are ever back in Pass Christian we will definitely head back...
