We've been coming to Judy's Jimmies for quite awhile, more frequently when the weather is nicer. I came in December with my grandkids and I always got the single cup which was always two large scoops, but there was a different girl there and it wasn't like the normal scoops. I just figured she was new and didn't know how much to give. My husband and I came last night and very disappointed that you've changed it from two scoops to only one scoop. The ice cream was always pricier than other places but we like to support local and it's very good ice cream. My husband said we won't be going back because paying $5.10 for one scoop of ice cream is ridiculous when you can buy a quart of ice cream for the same price. I can say you've lost a good customer. We always came with our kids and grandkids so normally 7 to 9 of us. We love your ice cream but can't justify paying that much for one scoop.
Thanks for getting back to my review. I certainly understand that you're in business to make money, that is exactly why you have a business to make a profit. The cost of everything seems to go up, or the quantity goes down and the price still stays the same but hopefully in the near future things will change for everyone for the better. Maybe you should consider doing business locally also and purchase your ice cream from Windy Ridge Dairy in Fombell. They have very, very good ice cream and make it themselves. I couldn't imagine the expense of driving clear to Penn State to pick up your ice cream. We used to go to a local ice cream shop in Ellwood City to buy the ice cream that they purchased from Windy Ridge but unfortunately due to COVID they shut down. It may be worth checking them out, especially with the price of gas and wear and tear on your vehicle for the trips to pick up their ice cream. Again, thank you and wish you...
Read moreI will start by saying that some of the negative reviews are either false or the person writing it was not reasonable with their expectation. The owners proudly serve Penn State Ice Cream. It is not cheap and it is real ice cream and the owners go through extra steps to ensure you get great tasting ice cream at an affordable price. My family and I met and spoke with the owners. They are vested in the business and are very dedicated to their customers and staff. The shop is super clean and as an added bonus, they have indoor seating for YEAR ROUND enjoyment of their product. As individuals, if you have an issue with an establishment, before you blast them, have mercy and speak about your issue. Everything has a solution, one must be mindful of the other person and a respectful, courteous conversation can solve even the most complicated problems we face and the ones that are to come. Thank you Judy and Jimmie for a great conversation and wonderful time! May God bless you, your family and your business. May you continue to grow and overcome.

Read moreIce cream is great, it is a must to stop in. As far as the credit card fee, I feel it should be advertised more with big signs and not have the employees say "it is just a few cents" some people just don't want to pay any fees at all. My issue is that customers park right in front of the benches outside and leave there cars running while they go inside. I would like to see no Idling signs on the side of the building with the seating area. There is plenty of room on the other side of the lot to leave your car running with your A/C on while you go inside. No one wants to listen and suck engine fumes while your trying to talk and enjoy your ice cream. It is a shame some customers are so ignorant and the business would even have to think...
