This was my second time at this course and the second time we have been harassed by a staff member.
First time was last year at a golf outing when my group of 4 was followed around by someone and was told several times that we were going to slow and that we needed to speed it up due to complaints. Remind you it was an outing and we still had to wait for the teams in front of us. We asked the people behind us if they were upset and they said they never said anything about our pace and that we were just fine. This gentleman then followed us on 4 more holes.
This past weekend was my second time going. We ended up having 9 golfers because a few people backed out. So we asked if we could have a group of 4 and then a group of 5. The gentleman in the club house said that was fine. The group of 5 was going to scramble so it wouldn't hold anyone up. At hole 3 a man came up to us in a golf cart, guessing the owner, and asked how many we had. I told him what we had. His response was you are only allowed 4! Someone had complained that we were taking to long. There was NO ONE waiting on us. I told him that I would just golf alone if it was that big of a deal however the people coming behind us would be waiting to tee off when they did catch up to us. Remind you we were still waiting on the team in front of us to complete the hole. He said was fine just keep up with the people in front of us and took off. We came in after we had finished the first 9 and he said " No other course would let you do 5 per group on a weekend. I myself have golfed at several places and they have NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT!
It is a nice course but for the amount of money we spent to not only golf, but also ate food and drank I would spend double that to go to a course and not be harassed. Myself and several of our group...
Read moreThe course was a lot of fun all the way until the end. This guy who said he was the owner of the place, kept trying to nag at us for everything. âYou guys are going too slow through this holeâ - no one was behind us and we were just taking our time. We accidentally dropped our tees, and picking them up we got told âyou guys are turning to sharp, I own this golf course and I want to keep it nice. Obviously not, me and my friends have strolled up upon many divots that you havenât fixed. Then he questions us asking âI bet you guys donât even have licensesâ- okay so youâre letting underage use your golf carts despite the rule at the course stating the age limit? He talked to our friends and randomly asked what they were doing, when he questioned them and their play style calling it âweirdâ. So this guy thinks thereâs only one to golf?

Read moreVery nice for a very good price! The full 18 hole course is fun and a challenge. The attendant was helpful. The driving range is grass instead of mats so that's a golden egg! Its It's definitely a tight course which makes you really think about club selection. One hook or slice and you could be in a rough spot. The course grass itself is great. They water it heavily early on in the morning. We had no rock hard ground in the fairways and most of the rough. Bunkers were soft which is better than almost all of the golf courses in the area. Highly recommend and I will be going back for another round soon. Great job Indian Run...
