Teapot Dome — Restaurant in Paw Paw Township

I’ve had this food a few times but never went in to eat before. My husband and I decided to stop in for a quick bite before a long drive. When we went to sit down we so very rudely were told to move to a different table and that’s why we needed to wait to be seated. (Mind you we didn’t see the sign and it wasn’t busy so we just sat down) then proceeded to get told multiple that we needed to order up front. We also didn’t know this which is fine but to tell us over and over again in a rude manner as the owner is not okay. Im not sure if they didn’t think we were from the area of what. The food was very good and our waitress was great. She even apologized for her bosses rude tone and behavior. We definitely will never be back inside to sit for...

Ordered a veggie omelet and my husband had the French toast. It was dead and the server brought us the wrong meal, I tried to tell her it was wrong but she ignored us the whole time. I actually had to yell at her to come back because she ran off. She took the meal, No apology or replacement was given, server never came back to check how we were doing. Had to eat my food awkwardly way after my husband ate his. My omelet had no veggies mostly cheese and was not good, but she had no way of knowing because she abandoned the only table in the restaurant. Not only that, we could hear her complaining about it from the front of the house.

The food was delicious! Big portions for reasonable prices. The only weird/awkward part was our party of 6 looking at the menu and ordering before we even sat down. I didn't like that, I quick ordered because I felt so awkward standing in front of the door and missed looking at the entire menu. I would have not felt so uncomfortable if I was able to sit at a table and then order at my own pace. The table we were sat at had not been cleaned either. The waitress brought over our drinks and silverware and set them on the dirty table, we asked for it to be cleaned, she did apologize and cleaned it right away...but around our drinks...
