Evey's Cafe — Restaurant in Pe Ell

Worst small restaurant I have ever eaten in. Ordered a ham and cheese melt. It was made with processed cheese. Not real cheddar or Swiss cheese, did not even taste like cheese. It was disgusting. The ham was not real ham either, it was super thin sliced lunch meat! The rye bread was good though. I ended up eating mostly the fries. My fiancé ordered chicken fried steak. We could not believe that either, the chicken was a pressed, processed “ gray” in color patty. Not real chicken. His hash browns and eggs were super greasy. This restaurant represents the town of PeEll. The hometown community vibe is really the moment you walk in the door! So we visited Evey's today for the first time. It is a very clean and charming place. The food was very good. The Evey's Burger wasn't big but it was very good. My wife had the Fish & Chips (with onion rings as a substitute) and the portion was quite large and also very tasty. The only issue was it seemed short staffed but I get that's not unique here. We'll definitely go again and give them our business when we are passing through Pe Ell. It's worth the stop if...
