I would give 0 stars if I could. Pulled up around 10pm and had to find a stall that wasn’t covered in trash. I came for the Sep.19th buy one get one Quarter Pound Coney deal and ordered 2 dogs (not combos) and mentioned the deal. The deal was accepted and my friend and I waited. After about 10 minutes our food came out but there was only one hotdog. I asked for my other hot dog and they claimed that they were not going to honor the deal and that it was for the app only. I told them online said you could order at the window and mention it and they told me it was wrong. I then opened the website and showed them the details in the screenshot attached to this review which is straight from the website and claims that you can use the app in person. They told me that there manager had said they weren’t doing the deal anymore…. Even though the deal was only valid for today. They brought me my other dog 15-20 minutes later when my friend had finished all their food and then handed me another $8 bill for the second hot dog. I asked to have the manager come out and at least do it himself, so he did, he wandered out and proclaimed that his boss (the franchise owner I presume) told him to stop running the deal. I showed him the deal and he agreed it said it was qualified but that his boss told him no. WHOEVER is running this place is running a sham and it will go out of business like the rest. I’ve been once years ago and was excited to go back but I’ll never support this business and they need to coach their management because not honoring the deal would have been the last course of action if they cared about the customer. Don’t forget when I ordered originally they accepted it. Absolute sham and the manager Lucas has no backbone, in the end of the day it was his decision to not honor the deal right in front of him. Blaming your boss does not validate trash customer service and also makes whoever is at the top here look like total jerk. The add was the first thing on the website and doesn’t specify which locations are applicable and there’s no way to tell. Absolute bait and switch from a dying company.

Super frustrated Mom. *we asked to speak with a management member per our ticket instructions at the bottom. The management on duty kept sending out employees, refused to refund us anything and these poor employees clearly are not getting proper support. We ordered… they forgot my shake no big deal, then had another girl come out say we never ordered it, and had to order it again, no problem they clearly didn’t ring it in, so we re ordered it. When I went to go eat my burger, it had onions on it after I had asked for non “I can not have them”. We asked for them to just please fix it.. at this point everyone in the car had eaten, 45 minutes went by, we had to talk to someone again.. and it’s been 15 minutes. Super sad I was really looking forward to just eating something anything after our road trip and taking care of the kiddos and family all day. I couldn’t even get that. The workers were very rude and I was very nice and understanding and also know the holidays are hard to work durning. But this mom was crying today for sure after this experience.

As Canadians, we were excited to try the Sonic Drive-In experience, and we found a location near our hotel. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there were a few hiccups. The first ordering screen we pulled up to wasn’t working, so we had to drive to another one, which was a bit annoying. Once we got to a functioning screen, ordering was easy, and the staff were very nice. They helped us with the order and brought the food out super quickly, which we really appreciated. I ordered a sweet tea and a double cheeseburger. Unfortunately, the sweet tea was a big letdown—the sugar didn’t dissolve properly, so it tasted like unsweetened tea with some sugar added after the fact. Not enjoyable at all. On the other hand, the burger was decent, nothing special but solid overall. The best part of the whole experience was the drive-in concept itself—clicking the button to order and having the food brought out to the car. While I wouldn’t rave about the food, the staff and experience were great. I’d give it three stars.

After what feels like forever in quarantine we were itching for a road trip but recognized the danger of anything that would put us into contact with ppl. We decided visiting a drive thru chain we dont have available in Maine may be safe enough to help itch that road trip desire. Limeades were calling to us. We packed up the car with the pup, double checked to make sure hand sanitizer and masks made the must haves and headed on our way. After hours of who's picking music, fine we can listen to that song but only if we listen to this one next, we arrived. So excited we pulled around to the drive through and were met with what can only be described as a voice who was none to pleased with our arrival this continued up to the drive thru window as well. Food was delicious (burger, chili chz conie, sausage egg n chz burrito), limeades were on point and everything we had hoped for but the service was lackluster and disappointing to say the least. I recognize its hard times but carrying a chip on your should in a customer facing industry where both the worker and customer are going through their own struggles helps no one. I hope sonic is being fair and gracious to their employees and recognizing the hard work the deliver each and every day during these unprecedented times. I wish to believe they have good ppl working for them, hopefully friendly ppl who make customers want to return and today was just a one off. Perhaps the workers need a raise or acknowledgement of their efforts in order to spark that friendly demeanor that can be heard and felt through the service they provide. Will visit again with hopes of better service and consistent great quality of your limeades...

Honestly one of the most embarrassing fast food visits I’ve ever had, and I rarely ever have fast food so this was a reminder exactly why I don’t. The fries I got were the coldest stalest cardboard tasting fries I’ve ever had the displeasure to bite into. The cheesesteak was something akin to a school cafeteria lunch. Worst part though is the workers. Look, I get it. I worked in fast food when I was a teen and then for 8 years after that. I know it gets busy and I can’t expect lightning quick service but this was honestly pathetic. The worker taking my order sounded like he’d rather be anywhere but there taking my order. When I tried to press the red button to ask for ketchup and honey mustard because I forgot to ask, the worker cut me off as soon as i said honey mustard, didn’t even get to utter the words ketchup. Just got “k your server X will be out” So he gets there, gives me the food and there’s 2 packets in there. So I say “hey man could you do me a favor and just give me an extra handful of ketchup. “Uhhhhh what do you want?” “…… a hand full of ketchup my man”! “Ohhh ok” Leaves and never comes back. Waited 10 minutes and again, I know it can get busy but it doesn’t take that much to just run it back out. I’ve done it countless times when I was on the other side of the situation working as the fast food server. If I was this franchise owner I’d be genuinely embarrassed how your store is run. Don’t bother replying to this review with the cookie cutter corporate script apology response. Because I don’t want your apologies or to make it right. I’m just glad I’ll never be back in this state around this area to experience that awful...
