That's Amore — Restaurant in Peabody

I have ordered Pizza and Italian subs from That's Amore. Always Take-out. On all occasions the food has been excellent and the service was wonderful. Their Italian sub was made exactly like I remember them from when I was a kid when every sub shop in the area made them the same way with correct vegetables (pickles, tomatoes and onions - all chopped. No Lettuce!. Oil, oregano and a little salt & pepper). Their Pizza was very good. Great flavor, no skimping on the toppings and the sauce wasn't weird. The crust was no too thin nor thick and done to perfection and topped with just the right ratio of cheese.

First time customer. I was looking for a good steak and cheese in the area and chose this place based on the overall reviews and one of the photos posted by the establishment (which usually looks better than the real thing). I hate to say it but it was probably the worst I’ve had. I don’t know what cheese they use but it was too much and not good. I wish I would’ve watched how they made it. No visible melted cheese slices, just what appeared to be a cheesy sauce mixed with the meat which saturated the meat and made it way too…cheesy. I want to taste the meat! Omg, yesterday evening, after the football game, my friend and I wanted pizza. Our go to places were closed! That’s Amore was opened, happily delivered, recommended the House Special pizza with meat lovers, garlic & mushrooms!! We were so hungry that unfortunately I didn’t take a picture!! I have 2 slices leftover for breakfast this morning! That I can take a pic of lol I gotta say they definitely are now my go to place!! Close to home, great hours & extremely friendly staff!!
