Lake White Club Bar&Grill — Restaurant in Pee Pee Township

This location is open and selling food again as a bar and grill serving classic American pub grub. The menu features sliders, wings, fried appetizers and a soup of the day. Salads are also available. The bar offers a large selection of domestic beers.

A friend and I enjoyed an order onion straws as an appetizer. Cut thin and lightly breaded, they reminded me of the onion rings that used to be served at the much-missed and long-gone Johnny’s Drive In in Chillicothe. I had the Boom Boom Shrimp, fried, breaded shrimp with a zesty sauce served on the side. It was very tasty and served with a side of fries that was large enough to share.

My friend ordered the Smash Burger Sliders with a side of Cole Slaw. The slaw was delicious. I didn’t try the sliders. They looked too thick to be called a smash burger, but my friend really liked them regardless. My family came here on May 9th for Mother’s Day. We had high hopes for this restaurant as the pictures online looked great. Don’t make the same foolish mistake we did. Our drinks had crumbs inside the cups when they came out to us. No apologies for that. Waited over 40 minutes to place our order because our waitress would come by just to tell us she needed to take care of someone else first. When she did finally come back, she picked our menu’s up and told us our food was on the way, yet we never placed our order. When we finally caught her attention to actually order, she didn’t even take all of our orders. The food was absolutely disgusting. Everything was burnt and tasted like charcoal and lighter fluid. Sent some steaks back and they came out even worse. We never got an apology and the whole experience was terrible. We have eaten at restaurants all over the US and this was one of the worst...

I and several members of the Pike County Dogwood Festival committee were invited to dinner at the club to discuss committee business. Our host was a local festival promoter who we were helping could provide opportunities to steer our festival into a future of continual growth. He told us to be there at 7 p.m. At 7:20 p.m. he hadn't shown. Several calls, messages, and emails went unanswered. I had never been to the Lake White Club before, so our group stayed and had drinks and appetizers. The food was well prepared and pleasing. On behalf of our committee, I want to thank the Lake White Club for a great meal. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because we're still a little aggravated by our host's poor...
