Pete & John's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Pemberton Township

I hate to leave a bad review but unfortunately my experience with this establishment was poor. My bf and I ordered from here twice, first time was bad, second time worse.

The first time we ordered a supreme pizza and wings. The pizza tastes fine but it looked like it was made by a 4 year old, it wasn't a square and not quite a circle I'm not sure what happened to that thing but whatever we ate it and who cares about appearance. The wings though, disgusting greasy and weird. Perhaps the whole meal was just an afterthought or it was a bad day for the cook.

Now my second time ordering went poorly as well. We ordered a week ago late on a Sunday. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza, how can you screw that up? Well you can. We waited an hour and a large plain cheese pizza arrived and it was over 16 dollars HA. Unbelievably overpriced and incorrect, but no big deal I just called back and let them know. A man got on the phone and accepted responsiblity for the mistake and offered to deliver the correct pizza, but it's just me and the boy we can't eat two pizzas so I asked for compensation. The man told me to just call back and he would take care of me, he always takes care of his customers. That seemed nice and fine. Btw the plain cheese pizza was arguably the worst pizza I've ever had and made me sick. I told my bf he could use the 'comp' at his convenience Bc I was over them.

Well, he called back today to order a pepperoni pizza and they offered him the pizza for ten dollars, what? I was already charged for the pizza and didn't get the correct thing. I'm sorry but compensation and taking care of a customer is a free pizza, a very expensive free pizza. Bad customer service.

With that said, won't be ordering from there again. I see others had a good experience and that's nice but we did not. And considering there are barely any options in the area we will have to...

Long Story short I have placed orders several times before. I placed an order for delivery, was allowed to give all information except delivery address due to customer service rep being very irritated because of how busy they said they were. Was told order would be ready in 25 minutes, waited over an hour so I called back and was told sorry it was put in pick up status.Decided to go pick it up. My question to the same female that took the order was if I said delivery when I ordered and paid for my order over the phone why is it set for pickup Excuse was we were slam busy and sorry. I use to love this place when I was a child but now the service has become unbearable and just disrespectful. I called to complain about an order and basically got threatened. Overpriced and lacking customer service. I will never spend my money again. I used to love this establishment now it’s just unbelievable rude and overpriced . It hurts me to my heart to even write this article but it needs to be written. I’ve always been about helping small businesses but I also am about accountability and transparency. This place uses to be a place of nostalgia and love and pride for me but now it’s just become a place of business where you don’t h get the same small business feeling.
