Had a wonderful dinner. My husband got the seafood boil an I had the stromboli. Yes, I strayed from the steak. I don't know what I was thinking. It was a toss in my head all the way there. Because I'm the steak lady. We also had live entertainment not just the music kind. The music was great though. We had customers near us that were non stop complainers. Salad had onions with "peels" on, steak was "overcooked" an "rubbery". They waitress politely dealt with these unruly people. She stepped away an brought the cook out. The cook looked at the food an said it is exactly how you requested. The customers did not agree. Then upper management came to see for themselves. A said look sunshine you ordered it. It's as you ordered it. Eat it or don't. We got quite the kick out of these unruly, snarky customers along with everyone else sitting around outside. They walked away without eating or taking their food along. I requested to see the "so called" ill prepared food. It was far from the complaints given by the customer. I then tried it for myself an it was a fabulous well seasoned, mouth watering, perfectly cooked medium rare steak (which just happens to be how I order or cook my steaks). I am happy to know that these kinds of customers aren't there every time we go. There is a reason we go back time after time. Food is always delectable! Drinks an wines are great too! Always enjoy our visits when we go. We travel to come here for a reason. Till next time. Thank you to our waitress Hailey for keeping your cool an being a fabulous waitress.

We were very disappointed with Buddy Boy winery. They can hardly call themselves a winery. It’s more of a “hillbilly” bar. The dining area outside had spider webs under the tables and didn’t seem very clean. The furnishings inside and out were minimalist. The only grape vines we saw were abandoned and full of weeds. The one wine we sampled was better than the bottle of the same we purchased and did not improve after it was opened, in fact it got worse. The food we tried was mediocre at best, over cooked wings, the salad special, smoked chicken salad, was terrible. Over ripe tomatoes with overcooked chicken and balsamic vinegar dressing. The best part of the salad was the beets. We left 90% of it on the table. The $15 burger was good but with no sides was overpriced. We paid $97 for wings, a salad, a burger, bottle of wine ($30) and two bottles of water. Yes, they charge for water!! Only the owner accepts payment and while paying she asked how my meal was. I was honest and told her I didn’t enjoy it she had no comment and no discount. She’s not very pleasant and could use some study in customer relations. Our server was very pleasant though and left her a nice tip in cash.

Great service and even better views. Drinks were good. My wings weren't bad just could of used a bit more seasoning. My wife loved her seafood sandwich. Maybe it was just timing but we ordered the homemade Mac & cheese and it was alittle muchy and watery. BUT we will be back on a more busy night to give it a second chance. I would and already have recommended this place to friends. It's a great hidden off the road restruant tucked away in the mountains. Also wife edit- axle is an amazing cat who deserves all the pets you're willing to give just don't pet his body and only his head.

Buddy Boy Winery is by far my favorite winery. The owners are always there and they always are welcoming. I have much respect for them. They work out of a small place but the variety of wine is amazing and the taste is outstanding. I love that it is off the major highways and tucked back in the cove. As you drive into the winery you passed the growing grapes which is a neat genuine feeling. They GROW their own grapes right there in their vineyard. The tasting room is cute and they have lots of wine accessories. They don't tell you which wines you should try. They let YOU decide however if you tell them what you like they are great at recommending different ones that you might enjoy. I love seeing Bill the owner coming through the tasting room after he just completed a long busy day. He is a hard worker and both him and his wife put their heart and soul into the winery. The fact that they can grow, make, bottle and sell right there on the premises is simply outstanding. I've never had a bad experience there and have been very pleased with all my wines, so pleased that I joined the case club and truth be told, it is the best wine club out there. I drive over an hour just to see the buddy boy crew and stock up on wine once a month. As far as other comments about the place looking like a junk hole...it simply is not true. Yes they have limited space but they are constantly improving and utilizing the space they have to produce tasty wine. They have a beautiful deck that you may sit and enjoy wine there as well as tables that you can sit and look at the vineyard. I will always support them and hope that you will give them a try, you won't be...

Beautiful place and great food! I got the crab leg special and they were cooked to perfection. The fresh cut fries were a hit among my family. The fire pits and live music were wonderful. However, i think they should let people know ahead of time that tips are cash only. We didn't know this and sadly had nothing to give to our waitress and from the sounds of it others didn't know as well. Another thing, the lady behind the bar was extremely rude to us when we walked in. We mentioned how this was our first time and asked where we should go if we have a reservation and she said she already erased the board and thought she seated everyone. Almost as if she was gonna turn us away. Asked for our name, found us in the book, and then mumbled behind her breath that we were late when in fact we were 15min early for our res. Like i get it, ive worked in the restaurant business, some days can be rough but you dont treat or greet new customers like that and try to blame them for something that isn't their problem. Then as we were leaving she was nicer when we paid our bill and then immediately just ignored us and talked to other customers. We were gonna ask abt buying some wine but ended up walking out the door cos she couldnt give us a second of her time. From the looks of it many other people have experienced a bad time with this same lady. This place is wonderful and the atmosphere is to die for but i think the lady up front either needs to be put elsewhere and/or talked to abt her employment because im sure it is quite off putting for a lot of...
