I went through the drive thru and ordered 1 large vanilla soft serve in a cup w/chocolate sprinkles, 2 med soft serve twist in a cup w/sprinkles & 1 small banana split blizzard. I was ask 3 x what kind of soft serve ice cream and what kind of sprinkles. I repeated my order 3x back to the staff (btw I feel as though this was such a simple order).
So I get up to the window (mind you they are not busy) and I see 3 young girls just kinda just chatting bout and working at their own pace. So they finally hand me my order after waiting 10min at the drive thru window and the 2 twisted soft serves have multi colored sprinkles and I tell them that they are suppose to have chocolate and to please place the remaining order in cooler so it doesn't melt. The two girls at the window were clearly annoyed by my request and rolled their eyes as they went back to remake the 2 wrong orders.
Finally after another 10min I have the whole order in which the large looks like a medium and the mediums look like smalls because they weren't filled properly, however; I had no time to keep going back in fourth with these kids. I usually never have this problem when the main staff is in and it's sad that most kids like the ones I dealt with today don't care about the work they do and perform poorly in a work environment.

Read moreI don’t know who the owner is of this store but they need to get an actual adult in this building. Teens working the whole thing is just not a good idea. I went in on 4/27/25 at like 8pm it was busy there was three teenagers probably the age of 15 which is illegal…. Anyway, there was 3 of them working we waited for almost 50 minutes 50 minutes for ice cream be so for real. people after us went in and out before we got our stuff. Not only did we wait super long, they lost our order completely lost our ticket for 50 minutes absolutely ridiculous, again hence why children should not be running a store, pathetic. Oh and not only did we wait that long them loosing our ticket, they gave us the wrong stuff I ordered a medium blizzard with extra brownies paid for that got none of that it wasn’t even the right blizzard it had brownie batter in it which is absolutely not what i ordered. This store is an absolute disaster it either needs shut down or not be run by kids and an actual adult needs to step in I will absolutely never be going back the irwin store is so much better than whatever they wanna call a business and this is going to be escalated higher, someone has to intervene somewhere. Read moreI have grown to like using the Dairy Queen smartphone application which at my usual DQ allows me to skip the line and just pull into one of the mobile order spaces and someone runs your order right out to your vehicle. I was trying to do that here but found that this locations systems aren’t compatible with the official DQ application. I am disabled and have a full size van that has a wheelchair lift that comes out the passenger side of the van and when I saw the handicapped accessible parking spaces they are all in front of the restaurant and are parallel to the road I need 7-8 feet beside my van to get my wheelchair out of the van and off the lift which would have placed me in the roadway so we instead used the drive thru. The drive thru was adequate for my van and I had no issues placing and picking up our order and there were regular spots where I was able to park and eat our food. Having hand controls I can’t eat and drive and can only eat while parked and we were even able to find a spot that had shade so it wasn’t to bright or hot where we were able to...
