Funcrest Dairy & Grill — Restaurant in Penn Township

We visited this restaurant three times during the week we were there. Everyone in the group couldn't stop talking about the food. Excellent burgers, malts, onion rings and fries.

Unfortunately the third time everyone was disappointed. Being very busy, we believe that they forgot to season the burgers. Asked to for the malts to not be made till the food was ready but received them ten minutes before the food was done. Then we discovered that they forgot a burger in our order. By the time we had the whole order the malts were melted.

We look forward to our next visit but will order in smaller groups and wait till the burgers are done before ordering...

The Funcrest is now better than ever! The new owners have done a wonderful job of sprucing the place up, without losing the old school feel and charm. I have fond memories of the Funcrest from my childhood, and I am so happy that it has been returned to its former glory and then some. The picnic tables are clean and the food is hot and delicious.
