Best pizza and wings in Hanover area hands down. Have had some small issues with consistency, which could be due to how busy they get and that says a lot that a small place like this does so much business and people keep going back. Paying for extra toppings is t necessary, as I haven’t been able to tell the difference between regular and extra to justify the cost. Our go to pizza for Friday nights, the pizza is good though the sauce is a bit sweet. The Old Bay chicken wings are awesome and worth trying. Order from their website and pick it up. Door Dash charges a heavy premium for items. For example, $26 for 24 wings from Giovanni’s through site but Door Dash charges $36 for the same wings and that’s with their DD+ membership. Support local businesses and order your pizza from Giovanni’s.

Fried food is clearly from frozen. Subs are 75% bread. The pizza..... When you take it directly from the oven and chuck it in a box when you're busy instead of sitting it and sliding out the holder, you get the DISASTER that destroyed our car seat and a hoodie, not to mention nothing was salvageable of that pizza nor is the grease stain on the apartment rug. There was so much fat and oil, it destroyed the box!! The mess was not worth a $23 pizza you took absolutely NO CARE to handle properly. I have no idea why this place is so popular. You can totally order online, though, if you pay A CONVENIENCE FEE to make sure they don't screw up your food... yet they did it anyway. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Try Sal's on Baltimore St - FAR BETTER VALUE!!

Good Food. Good Service. Pizza was well made I found the cheese to be very nice and the crust to be somewhat fluffy. It want very crispy but it has good body and wasn't floppy. I found the tomato sauce to be very neutral. Too neutral for my taste but may be just the thing for some people. Stromboli was delicious, plenty of good filling, though the menu is misprinted about the contents of a regular stromboli. Poppers were good. Cheese steak was well made. Eggplant fries were excellent. Will certainly be back Stopped by again. Pizza was better than I remembered it and I remembered that it was quite good. Great service. Delicious food.

A Culinary Delight: Unforgettable Bruschetta and Antipasto Experience at Giovanni's Italian Restaurant

Rating: ★★★★★

Giovanni's Italian Restaurant has taken me on a gastronomic journey, leaving me spellbound with the exquisitely crafted bruschetta and antipasto meal. From the moment I stepped into this charming eatery, I knew I was in for something special.

Let me start with the showstopper of the evening - the bruschetta. A true masterpiece of flavors and textures, it is a testament to the dedication and skill found in Giovanni's kitchen. The crispy, toasted bread slices were the perfect base for an array of toppings that danced harmoniously on my palate. The combination of juicy tomatoes, fragrant basil leaves, and a delicate drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil resulted in a vibrant burst of freshness with each bite. It was an instant reminder of authentic Italian cuisine at its finest.

Moving on to the antipasto, Giovanni's truly raised the bar. The beautifully presented platter showcased a medley of savory treats, opening up a world of tastes and textures that all discerning diners crave. From the robust flavors of cured meats and artisanal cheeses to the tanginess of marinated roasted vegetables, every ingredient was chosen with meticulous care. The harmony between the salty prosciutto, piquant olives, and velvety mozzarella was perfection at its best. Each bite transported me to the bustling streets of Italy, where traditional antipasto reigns supreme.

What sets Giovanni's apart isn't just the exceptional quality of their ingredients, but also the attentive and passionate staff. The knowledgeable waitstaff provided insightful recommendations, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Their warm Italian hospitality added an extra layer of charm to an already delightful evening.

The cozy ambiance of Giovanni's Italian Restaurant completes the perfect package. The tasteful décor, soft lighting, and soothing background music create an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like you're indulging in the heart of Italy. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a memorable evening, this restaurant is sure to surpass your expectations.

In conclusion, Giovanni's Italian Restaurant has redefined my understanding of bruschetta and antipasto. Their dedication to using fresh, high-quality ingredients, combined with the passion and expertise of their culinary team, sets an unparalleled standard. For an unforgettable dining experience that will transport you to the heart of Italy, look no further than Giovanni's. Trust me, once you taste their incredible bruschetta and antipasto, you'll be planning your next visit before you...

Food is good ..french fries are excellent...I stopped here at least 1x a month since they opened many years ago. I live very close. Last time in, I walked in and placed my order at the register. I paid for my order... and was given my receipt. .. it became busy and crowded... I felt I was in the way, so I sat down at a close table with my soda from their fridge and waited for my food. My food was bought out to me..I decided to eat it at the table I sat down at, and then i left. The next day when checking my bank records, I noticed a discrepancy in my receipt vs my bank statement of 5 dollars. I texted the manager and he said it was a mistake. That they put someone else's tip on my receipt by accident. He also apologized and tried to say this had never happened before..and it was the first time. what?

I actually believe maybe it was " the first time this person got caught". I don't know about you, but what employee anywhere enters their own tips and decides how much to put onto a receipt already signed by a customer ? The manager did offered to give me my 5 dollars back ...and/or a gift certificate, if I stopped in.

I then asked for the 5 dollars to be just "put back onto my card", since I didn't authorize it. And said to him that was all I wanted from them. He replied that he couldn't /wasn't able to do that.

With all that said, I don't see myself returning ever again. They can keep my five dollars...but won't get any more of my money ...there are too many "very good sub shops" in South Hanover Pa to have to deal with someone that I feel was...

Stop in here while camping at Codorus and it was a pleasant suprise. Kids all enjoyed the Lunch combos they ordered, but the antipasta salad I ordered was Awesome! I kinda of expected some pepperocini and giardiniera for some spice, which they don't use here, but the quality ingredients knocked the flavor out of the park. The romaine lettuce was fresh and not mixed with rusty iceberg like so many places do. The ham and provolone were rolled, the salami was twisted into martini glass shape and garnished with pitted Calmatta Olives, the cherry tomatoes had a nice punch of flavor instead of the typical half slices of pink flavorless sandwich tomatoes and paired well with the roasted red pepper, the quartered artichoke hearts were great addition to round out the flavor and texture profile, and it was finished off with a nice portion of diced fresh Mozzarella. Best salad I have had out in years. Quality, Flavor, Presentation. Nailed it. Great job guys. Thanks for a very...
