What a great place to eat. We had 4 starters, 2 subs and a cheeseburger 🍔. Everything was cooked really well and tasty. I think we found our new place to get a quick bite. EDIT: Had breakfast there on March 19th. Great bacon egg and cheese/Ham egg and cheese sandwiches. Also great prices for home cooked food. Better than any fast food chain. Just needed to add that they have a 44oz milk shake that it a great personal food challenge. Can you drink one in a single sitting. I did. Update 1/30/23 Stopped to get milkshakes. Another 44oz one and still delicious as always. Price went up a little but that's expected. I need to start trying more of their menu. Update 6-25-23. I have to say they have the best milkshakes around. The peanut butter shake is amazing. Better than Mr. G's by far. Very affordable and really friendly and fast service. 11-18-23 730pm and needed a milkshake. Went and got the best tasting milkshake around. Great service as always. Update April 2024 Stopped after baseball practice to get milkshakes and the line was to the road (about 20 deep). Came back 15 minutes later and line was a lot shorter and the service was amazing. Soft serve was delicious! Real frozen custard...not watery. But my daughter went back and asked for extra caramel because she didn't feel like they put enough on there. The girl at the window said that she couldn't do that. I assumed that she couldn't add it directly to our cup after we touched it to prevent food-borne illness...ya know...safe food handling is a plus!! So I asked if she could give it to us on the side. She then replied that she couldn't do that. I asked her if we paid for it, can she give us a small cup of caramel. She then replied that she couldn't do that. I asked her why, and she said "I just can't do that. I'm sorry." I don't understand why she couldn't give us the caramel we asked for, especially since we were willing to pay extra for it. And these Flurry's were not cheap, so I feel like if I'm paying all that money, I should be able to get something I want (that's on the menu) even if I have to pay extra for it. I think she was just being lazy and didn't feel like doing it. Even Chipotle will give you extra of whatever you ask for if you're willing to pay for it. Everytime we go there hubby & I order a cheese steak SUB!! We get our order each time & they are sandwiches. I take it up to the window and say “this is supposed to be a sub, I paid for a sub. The snotty teenager proceeded to get the cook, an she came to the window and said “she repeated back the order” I proceeded to tell her “it was a SUB” she sat there and argued with me for 10 minutes!!! What happened to the customer is always right!! Plus the sandwhich barely had any chicken on them, which for $30 is pathetic!! The OWNER needs to step up their employees. I will be going to tropical treat from now on! If they would’ve agreed and said “I’m sorry this was our mistake I’ll remake the sub” I would keep going back. But with the snotty teenagers and cook who argues with the customers! No chance!! I’ll spend my good hard earned money somewhere else!
