The Greeley Inn — Restaurant in Pennsylvania

We have passed this Inn a few times while driving in Pennsylvania. This last Friday we decided to try it.|Adran & Teodora are the owners/hosts. They truly make you feel welcome. We were there at 6:15 & left around 8:30. Along with a good meal (I had chicken,veggies,potato & salad),my husband had the "chop" which also came with veggies & potato. We had lemon cake (home made) for dessert. We also spent time talking to the hosts we told us that Tuesday evenings in the summer they have a "big band" practice in the ballroom. You just have to call let them know you are interested in coming to the event since (A) the band may not be there since they might have a "gig" & (B) they have a buffet that night & need to know how many people are attending so they can make the appropriate amount of food. This place is awesome! IDK how I didn't find this place sooner. The staff is amazing! Friendly and attentive, but more so- the food is SO good. Two of us had the chicken parm, one had the honey chicken sandwich. All the food is in house. Not frozen, not brought in from an outside company. This...THIS is what impresses me. To care enough about your customers and business to take the time to make nice, Homemade dishes! So few restaurants these day bother to take such care and consideration to do in house food. Homemade is always best and this is the place to get it. It's the hidden gem in Greely. If you haven't been here yet for breakfast, lunch, dinner or an overnight visit, you are missing out! They also have a party room for rent! It has a bar, a stage, room for dance and can accommodate large party's, weddings..etc. Everything here is reasonably priced. My new favorite place! An absolute must...

As a last minute decision, we went for dinner on Father's Day. We were definitely not prepared for the amazing experience we encountered. BBQ that would normally be found only in Texas! My wife and I both had the brisket and we shared the four sides that were available. Coleslaw, potato salad, Mac-n-Cheese and last but not least, baked beans. In fairness, the sides deserve an amazing review by themselves. Super generous portions of amazing food. You won't leave hungry! I'm not kidding about Texas. I've been to the Salt Lick, Black's and Valentina's to name just a few. Folks, don't miss out on this. We were well taken care of by Nicole and Michelle.
