L & L Fresh Seafood — Restaurant in Pensacola

I was in the middle of my trip back where I lived in. Pcola and my daughter and I were looking for a place to eat that I could use my snap card. After 2 unsuccessful tries at closed business...been a while since I visited...I thought of L & L but when I got to the property they were no longer there..not knowing what to try next..I drove down the road a very small piece and there they were! Everything I remembered was still true. Friendly..reasonable..clean with a small dining area. Place was busy but no long waits. Would eat there way too much of I could..I had the sauteed shrimp with salad and hush puppies with a side of gumbo and my daughter had the popcorn shrimp. Large portions ..saved some for lady!! Want good seafood at a good price try them out..no table service but...

Fish was good. They use the zaterans box seasoning for frying the fish so it's good, just nothing special. You get to eat homecooked fried fish without the clean up which is nice. The two different meals we got with shrimp were really expensive. And the shrimp was butterflied to look bigger since we ordered jumbo. They were not very big. And both meals were over-cooked. To the point that the shrimp wasn't just rubbery it was hard and almost impossible to chew . we ended up throwing away about 30 shrimp because they were just so over cooked we couldn't eat them. Sucks because of how much we spent. Id like to go back for more fish at some point. But with how much money we wasted on shrimp, i just don't think we will be spending any more of our hard earned...

O M G!!! My husband and I ordered for the first time yesterday and it was AMAZINGLY FRESH! We ordered a small shrimp po'boy and shrimp fried rice with 2 pieces of mullet fish. The bread use for the po'boy was soft and chewy with a slight crunch! like wow! so good! The shrimp fried rice was very tasty! It had peas,carrots,onions and an eggs mixed in with it. I was skeptical on ordering the mullet fish but the owner (worker) convinced me that it was worth trying and mentioned it being a wild caught fish. I'm so happy I tried it! It was very tasty and plentiful! everything was cooked to order so it came out hot and fresh!! I wanted to go back again today but they are closed so I thought I'll write a...
