Walked in. No hello, no sign saying if we needed to wait to sit or not. After a minute of just standing around, my family and I decided to sit at a table right in front of the bar, where the only visible employee was. We saw about 3 employees walk past our table, and nobody said anything to us. After three minutes, I made eye contact with an employee who finally realized we had not been helped. She took our drink order and brought it out, and then gave us a minute to look through the menu. Didn’t know that one minute meant 20 in bar language. Not a SINGLE word from the employees. We decided to leave, and nobody said anything to us. Not a goodbye, not a concern. This was the WORST service I have received in over 10 years. The menu was extremely limited, I guess because it was a bar. Not a place to eat, but a bar to hang out at. I am extremely disappointed and will never return under whatever management they have now. I honestly doubt they even have management with how their employees...

After walking on the Perkiomen trail (from Central Valley Park) I was very hungry. The large red building across the creek looked friendly and inviting. You can drive, walk, or bike over a bridge to the Gravel Pike location. I loved the fun and laidback atmosphere along the water. The building is welcoming as is the staff. I was seated at a table on the patio where I could look down at the trail and the Perkiomen below. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered the fried fish (haddock) and chips which was accompanied by cole slaw and tartar sauce. It was delicious, the portion large, and I took half of my meal to go. In addition to indoor and outdoor dining there’s a circular bar with many TVs for sports watching and camaraderie. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. You can even buy yellow duck t-shirts, long sleeved and hoodies. The Duck Inn was the perfect place to rest and enjoy the afternoon before heading home. But……I...

Last night was pretty disappointing. The two “managers” really could do better. I live 2 minutes from here so we come here every couple weeks but we arent regulars bc we aren’t big drinkers. We showed up at 6:00 and were sat by 6:05. We didnt have a server come to our table so at 6:25 i went back to the hostess stand and said something. This led to the bald manager telling a server she had a table on the patio behind the bar. She argued with the manager and then walked into the patio area straightened up a different table then told us someone would be with us soon. We just left at that point and went to another restaurant. On the way out we walked by the bald manager who just was walking out the front door to get a breath of fresh air idk. I told him what happened and he just said sorry guys. Had a lot of good meals and drinks here but that...

Lovely riverside deck on what otherwise appears to be a dive bar. Although the draft selection mainly mirrors the norm of a dive bar there was a nice ipa and the bottle list was long and pretty good. We stopped for drinks and appetizers and it was a nice stop. Service was friendly and efficient. They had what looked like a small fire pit that would likely be nice on a cooler evening. Draft selections beyond quite bitter IPAs and the standard mass produced drafts would be a major improvement, but they were good at providing samples of drafts I had not tried before to help make a decision. The biggest problem were the loaded fries were pretty disappointing (really cold, not at all fresh given the time we waited with tasteless cheese). (Upped from 2 to 3 stars for pleasant reply making me think next time could be better)

Went on a Saturday for lunch, not too busy, outdoor deck was great with shade and a beautiful view of the river and the duck floating outside. The food was great, lots to choose from on the menu. We ordered a bit of everything from mozzarella sticks and loaded fry basket to wings, pretzels, a pork sandwhich and even a cheesesteak with sweet potato fries. Literally, everything was delicious. Ordered a few drinks, all well made and delicious. Everything came out great. At the end we had some leftovers for some of us so we ordered a bit more food to go, so everyone would also have dinner later. Spent between $20-$25 per person. Good meal. Good service. Overall, great family meal out.
