Dawns Deli is a true hidden gem tucked into the picturesque rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Western Pennsylvania. Each time I’ve been there the offerings were quite exquisite, and really warmed my cockles. I sometimes get tired of TV dinners and will venture over here fairly often. The last time I went there because my partner burned the lasagna, so it can often be an oasis of sorts. The last time I was there, I met my friend Marshall before we went to the Interstate Body Shop, and we both had fried Lake Erie Perch with fresh slaw and freedom fries. Other times I’ve had their fresh hand spun milk shakes (their twist on the strawberry milkshake is my favorite), sushi rolls, breakfast burritos, cheese pizza, cake pops, guacamole, burgers, and hoagies and they’ve all been great. I will continue to visit this restaurant...
