Cafe Neo — Restaurant in Pershing

Took almost 30 min to service the 2 people infront of me. Then another 10 min for my 1 smoothie and 1 sandwich. Smoothie was bitter not sweet. Sunshine twist, apple pineapple and carrot. $8 for the most bitter smoothie of my life. $5 for a half of a sandwich. Cashier gave the guy infront of me a discount, didn’t offer me anything.

I’ve been there before and it was great. “My attitude was callous?” Maybe because it was 8am, I had just woke up and it took 40 min to get a smoothie and sandwich. I’m not upset with you partner, I’m just putting my honest review. But it’s nice to know you judge your customers upon entry. Smoothie might have been fresh, but as stated above it was very bitter not sweet at all. I’m a semi truck driver I can’t just make a quick u-turn. Also it would have put me more behind than I already was after waiting all that while. I suspect they're suffering from new opening growing pains. Went in to order a Traditional loukoumades (honey, cinnamon, & nuts). One of them had all the cinnamon, only one tasted like honey, and the nuts were just on the bottom. Not sure if they're suppose to be that gooey on the inside either. The store is beautiful and the staff was friendly. But I would suggest waiting until they work out the training kinks before giving this place a try.

Update: Tried them again a week later. Ordered the strawberry cheesecake loukoumades. Bumped the review up a star since these actually came with toppings. The strawberry was that sorta strawberry icecream topping stuff and there was plenty of whip cream, but I didn't taste cheesecake at all. And you have to eat the strawberry ones quick or the topping makes them soggy.

Overall, looks like a great place to hang out, beautiful place. It's just too bad they haven't impressed me with their food and I don't see myself...
