I was happy to discover ChattyCupcakes through a general Google search of area bakeries. My son and I dropped by the cupcake vending machine this afternoon to give it, and the cupcakes, a go.
Each cupcake was $9. This kind of hurt the pocketbook, not gonna lie, but I figured it was special, why not! So I spent the $18 on the two cupcakes. We got a Fairytale cupcake and an orange raspberry galette cupcake. Both were very impressive looking! The Fairytale came with a large partial fondant dragon perched atop the cupcake with a shooter of dragon fruit panna cotta included as well. My six year old, uncultured heathen he is, didn’t care much for the dragon fruit but went wild for the dragon. My raspberry orange cupcake came with an entire mini galette on top!
Hard to deny that the cupcakes were good- they were- but the sheer amount of buttercream on these cupcakes was a little daunting. You need to practically eat through the entirety of the frosting to get to the cupcake itself :( Once I made it down to my cupcake it was soooo good.
