Sustainers’ Pub — Restaurant in Petersburg

I was excited to learn that we had a restaurant in the hotel. I was disappointed in what it turned out to be.

Drinks are surprisingly expensive. The food is average at best, and the only benefit that comes is the convenience of it. Finally, my experience has varied drastically depending on who is working. While most staff has been kind and helpful, other staff members have been short and oddly confrontational.

If this restaurant were properly managed, it could generate significant revenue from soldiers and staff looking to relax. Instead, it seems to be solely for the purpose of turning a small profit based on...

So much wrong with this experience. Was told burgers and salads were out of stock (that’s half the menu) and chicken tenders had a special (was still $3-4 more expensive than a burger and fries). I was then served 4 raw chicken tenders. When I brought it up they sent it back and the cook blamed it on the instruction saying only cook for 4 minutes. They only handed me 3 chicken tenders back. I was also given another beer that I did not ask for so I thought it was free( given the circumstances )and that I also was still working on the one in front of me. No, I was charged for 2 beers....

Located inside IHG Hotel, 1st floor lobby. Sustainers Pub is a small but quaint area. A good spot to come in and grab a few bite to eat on their limited menu. Area is limited on sitting, but they have a good selection of drinks.

Overall a spot for people who don't want to travel very far off the installation, while wanting to grab a snack and few drinks. Televisions are available for watching sports. It might be short staffed, but workers are accomadating...
