I'm a stickler when it comes to Mexican food. It's such a saturated category and I typically don't risk new places because most are similar in flavor or style, and many let me down. This place was definitely my best visit to any taco truck to date. The Charro beans are typically a throwaway. They're expected, but not looked forward to. Not here. The addition of the eckrich sausage makes for a totally new and smoky kind of charro beans. I wish I would've known, so I could've ordered a gallon jug of them, if possible. Used to go often. Last time I went, we all got food poisoning. Also, they overcharged us really bad and when we tried to get the itemized bill, lady said the machine was broken. Before we were leaving, they stopped us and said they charged us wrong (even though we had already paid 45 dollars for 3 people and it was supposed to be the combo) and we ended up paying over 50 dollars. 5 stars. Highly recommend the Papa asada, I always add extra cheese for my liking but the way it comes is definitely enough for most. Sincronizadas are a generous size and their charro beans and side of chips always hit the spot.
