The Market At Maglio's — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I drove an hour down to get a few pounds of sausage for the Phillies tailgate tomorrow. When I walked in the more than pleasant counter worker asked me what I needed. I asked for 2 lb of sweet and 2 lb of hot and she looked at me like almost like she was disgusted ,(because she didn't want to break the bad news) and said I'm sorry we don't have any sausage. I thought she was joking. I said Maglio sausage doesn't have any sausage. She said I don't even know when we're getting more. Update : August 27th 2025 the name Maglios is no longer on the building. Also the market is not open and is no longer stocked. I was told they were renovating the store and will open some time soon. However you can still go into the side door on the right and still purchase sausage and grated cheese from what I saw when I visited. If I find any other info I will update again. I drove 2 hours to get some sausage. When I arrived at 2:15p.m. everything was locked. There was a gentleman coming out of the wholesale side that said they closed because it was dead. They are supposed to close at 4:00 p.m.. I made a special trip, came down with three large empty coolers to pick up sausage for an event we are going to have. I was planning to buy over 500 lb of their sausage. While there sausage is great, it's not worth the trip for the uncertainty if they're going to be open or not when they clearly have posted hours that they don't adhere to. Huge disappointment.
