We had an amazing lunch at Bear Belly's! For an appetizer, we had the chicken wings that made our taste buds explode — so flavorful! They paired perfectly with the loaded smashed potatoes. For our mains, the maple Dijon salmon was absolutely delicious, and the baked haddock was cooked to perfection. The New York strip steak was expertly prepared, and the chicken sandwich was mouthwatering.

Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The owners, Martha and David, are wonderful and truly make you feel welcome. I had dinner here with a few friends last weekend after learning of the place from a FaceBook group. My local friends said the place was good, so game on!

As the name implies this is something of an upscale biker's bar sort of place. Think about the movie "Wild Hogs" and you will know what I mean. One biker I talked to while in line for a drink said his crew was heading towards Newry which is two awsome hours of scenery away.

My party sat outside under clear skies with live music that was very good. We enjoyed the fish and chips, mussels, and ribs and wings combo. They serve Prime Rib while it lasts; 7 PM on a friday is beyond where it lasts.

Stopped this past Saturday around 5PM. Only a few people at the bar and tables. We waited for a while at the bar to get a couple beers. Obviously the bartender was new. He had to look up a Bloody Mary on his phone. He was just overwhelmed it seemed with maybe 20% of the place filled. As we waited we could see into the kitchen. The cook was picking up fish with no gloves and putting it in batter and then in the fryer. Maybe he washed his hands afterwards but we didn’t see it. Another person in the kitchen had a big beard and was sweating like crazy. We got so turned off we look left after the one drink. We really wanted to try the food but not with the kitchen...
