I received notification thru the DQ app that they had a new item New! Brownie and OREO Cupfection treat and was excited to try it. When I decided to go I was closest to the DQ on 75th & Camelback. OMG this is the worst Dairy Queen I've ever been to because the staff is not friendly and UN organized. I went at approximately 11:30am on a weekday. Usually DQ opens around Arizona @10am so I thought perfect they should have the ice cream makers ready! The icecream maker I had was Trinity that unfortunately does not know how to make ice cream. I ordered a simple cone that was dipped kind but was lopsided since she didn't even know how to make it. I also ordered that New! Brownie and OREO Cupfection but received my cone first. While was waiting for the rest of my order another lady came into the restaurant and she said her order was wrong through drive thru so Trinity made her another blizzard and apologized. While waiting I ate my ice cream cone and another couple came in and ordered and received their order right away even though I still had yet to receive the rest of mine...Like a few minutes later I then noticed two cups of vanilla ice cream Trinity was struggling with, one had chocolate sauce in it. A few min later she brought a brownie on a cookie sheet over & chopped it in half placing it in the cup with ice cream and chocolate sauce. Then she took both cups to the back of the restaurant and then seconds later brought me the rest of my order, the whip cream on top was melted & a weird consistency like soupy even though she just made it...I was like WTF and their was only a few Oreos pieces throughout the whole cup of ice cream, not to mention the brownie was hard as a rock and very disappointing so just want people to be aware, save yourself the trip & DONT USE THIS...

When I pulled up to the drive thru window, the first thing I did was tell the lady over the speaker that I have a BOGO blizzard offer through the app. I then proceeded to order a royal new york cheesecake blizzard and snickers blizzard. When I pulled up to the window, I showed her the coupon and then she told me the BOGO does not work on the royal blizzards. Why wouldn't she tell me that when I was ordering it since I told her at the very beginning I was using that coupon?? Fine, I change my blizzard at the window to one that works with the coupon. I then show her the barcode on the app and she says "oh we cant scan the barcode here". Why would the app offer that option if the store doesn't have the ability to scan the barcode?? She asks me to bring up the code on my phone but the reception is not great in that area and it wasn't pulling up the code. I asked her if she could help me out this one time and she literally just said no. I've worked in customer service my whole life. I understand the customer is not always right, but this was just terrible customer service. It's not like they were busy either. I was the only car there. I ended up just leaving with no blizzards. I will not be returning to this location and would not recommend...
Read moreI have been to this Dairy Queen twice now and both times the employees were rude! Not only were the ride over the speaker but once I pulled up to the window it was the same thing. The first time I went the cashier at the drive through window raised his voice at me when I asked him why he needed the exact change. When I told him that I wanted to pay with cash he said that I would not be getting any change then. If he would have informed me why he couldn’t give me any change I would have understood but instead he gave me attitude. At that point I should have just left because customer service is not something that they practice. I just went for a second time and to my surprise I got the same attitude from a female. These employees are not being trained properly. Even though it’s a fast food restaurant you interact with customers so CUSTOMER SERVICE show be something that this store is trained on. I will not be returning to this location. You have lost a customer. Reading the other reviews I’ve noticed that I’m not the only customer that dealt with RUDE employees at this location.
