The Beaver Bar — Restaurant in Phoenix

Older lady waitress is friendly until she is in a mood. Won't go back. So, fast forward. Gave this place another shot today. Just changed to 1 star. I got there at 1:55pm I asked: "do you have anything going on right now? Happy hour?'' The female bartender said NO. I asked : "do you have happy hour?" she said: "ya at 2".... I asked: "what do you have going on at 2?" she said "happy hour". This review is not my first. I am a 30 to 40% tipper. I wanted to give this place another shot. wanted food and drinks after a long week of work. I live close and looking for a bar to hang out at and stop in from time to time. THIS PLACE HAS POORLY TRIANED EMPLOYEES. NOT ONCE BUT 2 TIMES I have been greeted with an attitude. Don't drink too much. You have to use weird codes to get in the bathroom. Kelly Clarkson was on the TV and not sports, and we all know she is a huge turn off and rarely has anything intelligent to say. This is definitely in a sketchier part of town and the waitress was not that great she seemed a little bit of an airhead and the glasses that she served us beer in we're not clean and it was just a pretty sour taste in our mouth with the beer it seemed a little stale. We were thinking about grabbing a bite to eat here but after we had the beer and it was quite stale and kind of musky tasting, we decided that we would steer clear and just have the one beer and one round of pool and head out. This could be a cute little bar if things turned around...

You got some great bands on Saturday nights ... Cheap pictures some really pretty girl the owner Michael Beaver is really cool... I was in there Friday afternoon and the owner Mike Beaver bought the whole bar around.....the Marshall Law Band three-piece band you a wide range of music from Tom Petty to the eagles led Zeppelin Thin Lizzy and a lot of big hair 80s rock songs as well as common pop stuff like la Bamba tequila Europa Red Red Wine Play that Funky Music White Boy ....or Mo Town classics Sly and the family Stone listen to the good dance songs like honky tonk woman or Bob seger sunspot this man is like a jukebox they sound a lot...
