Captain D's — Restaurant in Pickaway Township

On 6-14-18 I went to Captain D's. The food has always been good and nice employees until today. I'm disabled so I sat on the bench until it was my turn to order. There was a man there before me and I assumed he was next. As I waited on him, the lady taking orders waited on a couple that was behind me. I got up and said I was next to order. The employee behind the counter said I was rude and said I should have been waiting at the counter. I had to explain why I was handicapped which you should never have to do, it's no one's business. What did she think I was sitting on the bench for? She did this in front of another long time employee who just stood there and grinned. Even after I tried to explain my handicap, she wouldn't back down. She still insisted I was rude. Well, someone was very rude, but it wasn't me. I guess I was supposed to wait on everyone else in line. She should have asked if I had been waited on yet. People can be so stupid! Next time I will ride in on my mobility scooter, if there is a next time. The reason I walked in is because there is no handicap access and even if I managed to get inside with my little 3 wheel scooter, there isn't enough room to get around. Any employee that talks to customers that way should be fired and someone owes me an apology. NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY AT ALL.

Consistently good. A little $$ but usually never have any of the problems that I encounter at other local fast-food establishment's or restaurants. Fish is not as greasy as Long John Silver's. Have healthy options such as non-breaded fish, vegetables, and water or sweet & unsweetened tea both good. Don't forget other items such as dessert items, Hush Puppies, french fries, coleslaw, chicken tenders and pop/Soda. Good customer service representatives. In 7 years I have only experienced 1 problem with this location and it's wasn't resolved but next to Red Lobster you can't beat this place.
