Smitty's Sundown Lounge — Restaurant in Pickford Township

I called in a take out order felt extremely rushed on the phone .. 3 items I ordered were not available on Saturday Menu when I asked what was available she told me it’s on the internet I said well that’s what I’m looking at she said no it’s on our facebook page under photos . As I’m on the phone I get on Facebook.. I scroll past maybe 40 photos before I find the menu . I start to list off my order to her .. after every item she say’s is that all is that all ..I felt a little rushed and she was very short and.snotty with me like I was interrupting her from doing something else. We go get the order get home and my grinder is the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen for 13$ 1 thin slice of ham 1 thin slice turkey 2 pieces of bacon 1 slice of tomato.. All bread I basically paid 13$ for a 12” sub bun .. my husband’s burger was raw in the middle very poor meal for the price I paid . Customer Service definitely is failing with this place these young girls they have working are definitely not skilled on true customer service FYI possibly pin your limited menu post so it’s more convenient for guests....

We've lived in the area for years and finally decided to try this place out. Both times, different days, the food was good but service was terrible. People who came in after us got waited on and served well ahead if ys because they were known by the servers. Servers stood around having lengthy conversations with other tables while my kids and I sat waiting to get drinks. I would love to make this a regular place, but after giving it a shot twice, I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. I know it probably doesn't matter to owners since this place is always packed when we go by, but remember not all locals have been there and word of mouth spreads over time. You shouldn't assume people are tourists and you shouldn't treat people you think are tourists differently. Your food is good, just work on customer service for...

My complaint isn't about the actual service. Our server was just fine. My complaint is that after losing my dad on Wednesday and spending the week doing all that goes along with that we decided to go to the Sundown as my mom always loves wing night. After paying and using the restroom she was accosted by the manger and was asked why she didn't tip better. I have never in my life been treated that way and with a 17 years history of waiting tables/bartending, I can say with the utmost certainty that I have never said anything so demeaning and humiliating to even the worst customer.
