Main Street Home Cookin’ — Restaurant in Piedmont

My grandmother grabbed lunch here today for the first time and asked me to leave this review … let’s start with the BLT the bacon was burnt beyond a crisp I mean it was charred black and hard as a rock. The bread was very hard on one slice and soggy on the other . The tomato was a top cut and hard missing the core .

While ordering her meal she was given a number or asked her name . Upon the meal being brought out yelled it’s the little old lady over there as they pointed at her.

She is 69 years old and was very upset she didn’t eat but a few bites of the BLT and threw it away .

She said the atmosphere was that of normal business but the food and the service were bad and she felt they were rude to several people...

We had a wonderful meal there today... my husband had a double cheeseburger and it was huge and he said it was the best burger he has ever had... I had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and salad bar... everything was scrumptious... salad bar was great... and the waitress was very nice and attentive... we were camping and wish we had saw this place sooner... we will definitely be back... it will be our go to when we are at Clearwater... if u like delicious home cooking this is the place... also it is very clean... which is very...

We ate mid afternoon on a Sunday. The waitress was SUPER nice and attentive. Inside was about 85°..it was pretty rough to eat inside in the heat. The food was not good.
