People that live and grow up in Pierre are ruined to the rest of the donut shops in the world. They set the bar so high by which you'll judge other donut shops. I understand that people who grow up and live somewhere all their lives have a different view of businesses than people who are new to an area. I have heard fantastic things about The Donut Shop for the past few months so of course going is something that I have looked forward to. They do not guarantee their hours will be the same as what is posted coming from out of town. We paid ahead for donuts and found out when we were still an hour out that they were closing early at 11 instead of noon. They left the donuts outside under a tree For us to pick up since they were already paid for these were not the donuts that I remember years ago, they were terrible they were hard, did not taste the same, and the donut holes did not have any or hardly any buttercream in the middle very disappointed...
