⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just Like Grandma Used to Make! If you're looking for a breakfast spot that feels like a warm hug from your grandma, look no further. This cozy little café is the kind of hidden gem every town dreams of having. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the smell of sizzling bacon, fresh-baked biscuits, and brewed coffee that takes you back to simpler times. The décor is charming and homey—think gingham curtains, vintage dishware, and a pie cooling on the counter. The staff are genuinely kind and treat you like family, not just another customer. It's the kind of place where they remember your name and your favorite order. Now let’s talk about the food. Fluffy pancakes, perfectly crisped hash browns, golden scrambled eggs, and sausage gravy that tastes like it came straight from grandma’s cast iron skillet. Their homemade jams and jellies are the cherry on top—literally, if you get the biscuits! Every bite brings back memories of childhood breakfasts at grandma’s table—slow, peaceful, and made with love. You don’t just leave full—you leave happy. It’s the kind of breakfast that sticks with you in the best way. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor...

I have been meaning to get over to Corner Cafe for a few years but had never made it .. fixed that last weekend!! My sister was in town and while we were out and about in the square and at the tulip fields, we decided to stop at the Corner Cafe for lunch. We were not disappointed! Shirley was fantastic and it seemed like we had known her all our lives. Obviously this is a very popular place, as it was quite busy. My sister and I found ourselves a table, we sat down, & then we were promptly greeted by Shirley. I'm a vegetarian, and although there are no specific options for vegetarians (other salad, Lol), there were still several menu items that one could adapt easily enough. My sister had a burger. It was large and she said that she enjoyed it. I had a BLT, no "B"; it had a pesto mayo that was delicious and it was all on a ciabatta roll - It was very good and I was very happy! We both had sweet potato fries...they were tasty. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I'll definitely be...

I’ve lived in Texas my whole life come to this area to fish for years.. I’ve driven by this cafe and always see a crowd I mean always. Today decided to wait closer to closing and stepped into grandmas kitchenette y’all know where you can sit and talk to grandma while she cooked… that’s the feeling you get walking in here. Food smells delicious service by a sweet lady and then bam the food! Perfect omelette ham and veggies but the onions still had slight snap not overcooked at all grits and the BLUEBERRY PANCAKES. My husband said they were almost as good as mine and he would definitely return to try other dishes! Onion rings were perfect not overcooked instead of rings were cut into squares interestingly Rueben sandwich is what he ordered but had to taste the pancakes and that sealed the deal! We recommend this cafe to anyone but they close @ 2:30 so hurry on in and feel the welcome of a great small cafe with big flavors just...

My husband recommended this place so I wanted to give it a try! We were greeted very kindly and were sat promptly. My husband ordered a coffee and to our surprise, the coffee was so bitter it was almost undrinkable. We ordered our meals and they came within a good timeframe. Unfortunately, my husbands bell peppers and onions in his omelet were super underdone, and his hash browns were also super mushy when he had requested them to be extra crispy. My meal was decent. My hash browns were also super mushy and almost tasted like warm mashed potatoes. Overall, the breakfast seemed rushed and underdone all the way around. The air was stagnant and super hot so shortly afterwards, we left. Unfortunately, we will more then likely not be returning just because of the food. The staff was super kind and helpful however and we appreciate that.

We were staying at Lake Ray Roberts in Motorhome & didn’t want to cook. Looked for a small town Mama/Papa country cafe, this was definitely it! As the pictures show the quality of the food was wonderful. Everything tasted great & served hot. They also have REAL Texas sweet tea. I always go for sweet tea went I visit TX. Prices were reasonable for amount received. Building was clean. Seating was spacious. Our server “Shirley D” was friendly, knowledgeable of the products available, & a good source on local information. All of the staff looked happy to be there. Parking lot was large with a couple trucks/boat trailers. Definitely a local hot spot.
