Around The Bend Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Pine Grove Township

This might possibly be the best restaurant I ate at in my 27 years of life. The food came out super fast and reasonably priced. We ordered about six things off the menu it was all fantastic. The wings are huge, the nachos with shaved beef is an excellent idea, the kids meals got both fries, apple sauce and icecream! But thats not even the best part!! The atmosphere and staff were so incredibly kind! You can really tell this is family owned resturant! We only ordered our seven year old a kids meal and let our two year old pick off everyone's plates. When it came time for our son to get icecream my son asked if they had chocolate, they did not but she found chocolate syrup to make it for him! She also was so kind to bring our daughter and icecream as well even tho she didnt get a kids meal. Does it end there? No! After they finished their ice cream she came back out and gave them bubbles to take home, they were so excited! As we were going to leave, the owner stopped us to make sure we knew where the exit from the parking lot was, since they're on a bend they have another driveway out so you have more room to see, that way no one gets in an accident. I loved everything about it don’t get me wrong, the people, setting, vibe everything I loved. People were very kind and very thoughtful. But I was in for a treat, fried steak? More like fried beef patty after unraveling a INCH of fried badder of the “fried steak” it not only scared me but traumatized the 2 others that was with me, the lady that saw my unraveled fried beef patty and told her, “can you please get this dish away from me?” And she was very kind about it and offered anything else but after seeing what was a so called “fried steak” I couldn’t look at the menu again, DONT GET ME WRONG the other things on the menu sounds lovely but that fried steak scared me. This restaurant is the definition of welcoming. From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of the family. The food is outstanding – the French onion soup is one of the best I’ve ever had, rich and flavorful, and the pizza burger is a must-try, perfectly balanced and delicious.

A special shout-out to Jenny and Mrs. Skripko for their warmth and kindness – they truly make every visit memorable. And hats off to Jeff for transforming this place into such a gem. He’s created not just a restaurant, but a community spot where everyone feels at home.
