We normally love Brother's but after today I don't think we can support a business that treats people so poorly. We DoorDashed 4 pizzas, 1 calzone, 12 wings, and 2 soups. When our food arrived, we were missing a pizza and instead of wings, we got garlic bread. I messaged the Dasher and he said the store said that was everything so I called the store to simply explain and ask if our Dasher could come back for the missing pizza and the owner went off. He screamed at me that I didn't know what I was looking at and it was the Dashers fault. Our Dasher called as well and the owner cussed the Dasher out for trying to verify he didn't miss anything.
We aren't far away from the shop, so I went to Brothers to show the owner the wrong food and he spent 10 minutes screaming, insisting the very clearly garlic bread was wings in my face while I calmly explained the issue. He admitted he didn't give the Dasher the right number of boxes but continued to yell at me and say it's not his problem or fault. The owner then told me the Dasher should have untied the double knotted bag and open the sealed containers to make sure everything was right. I explained that it was against food safety rules but he just continued to yell. He walked away and kept yelling at me from the back. Even after I had the right item and missing pizza in hand, he continued to yell at me as I thanked the cashier and left.
I have full audio recordings of the incident to confirm my words above. I also have the security footage from my cameras to show exactly how many boxes were delivered and screenshots of the conversation with DoorDash. This is not how you react when confronted with a mistake. This is not how you treat repeat customers. This is not how you earn respect and the trust of the community you...
Read moreBrothers Italian Kitchen- we order from here once a week. It’s a local business that we support instead of the big name brands. We like to eat and spend our money at local/family owned businesses. So we ordered from there today. Got some pizza and wings. We ordered 12 wings for $20 which is high but it is what it is. I asked for half of them buffalo and half plain because my daughter doesn’t like spicy wings. They called me and told me they were going to charge me $5 more to do “two flavors” while they use half their sauce. I explained that we support them. Every week. Probably $200 a month sadly but we like our pizza nights with a movie. Had he said we will do it this time but next time that I prefer you order them plain with buffalo on the side, I would have been okay. We will NEVER go back there. The owners son told me I should have read the menu. First bad move. Second. They don’t have a a menu!!! You get redirected to the Slice app. Never see a menu. Nothing. This is in Pine Level!!! Most of you have never even heard of them. But you have now. Don’t support businesses who don’t have common sense. I’m not asking for anything free. In fact I’m asking for less. Zero customer service. Zero more business from this guy. Everyone please go support papa John’s. Instead of local. That’s obviously...
Read moreWow! What a great dinner tonight! We tried to sample lots of things—Ceasar Salad and House salads were fresh. The fried mozzarella was fantastic—homemade mozzarella and they bake the bread to make the breadcrumbs that coat it. The sauce is superb too! A generous 6 piece appetizer. Lasagna was excellent—hubby says best he’s ever had at a restaurant! I had baked ziti and our daughter had penne a la vodka—we both loved it! Brought more than half home for leftovers! We splurged on three desserts—the Tarfuto (a vanilla and chocolate ice cream ball coated in chocolate), cannoli and limoncello cake. They were all delicious but the limoncello cake was the winner— a nice light dessert after a heavy pasta meal. Bottom line—awesome menu with something for everyone at very very good prices! We’ve paid a lot more at other places for food that’s not as...
