Katie's Korner — Restaurant in Pine Township

My friend, my boyfriend, and I were there about 2 weeks ago. My boyfriend saw a black hair in his ice cream, now I would be willing to suggest it was his hair however it was a long black hair and none of the 3 of us have long dark hair, so he went up and told the girl at the window and all she said was “okay and? I guess just throw it away” now I’m not sure if she has ever worked in the food industry (evidently not) but that’s not how you treat that situation, first of all an apology would have been nice, second of all my boyfriend didn’t want more ice cream because of the hair but an offer for a new cone would have been nice, third offering money back for that cone would have also been nice, so I called the following day and asked to speak to the owner but they weren’t there so I had to leave my number for them to call me and I did that THREE TIMES and never got a call back again it’s been about...

This review is not about the ice cream but the service we received. We waited in line, my mother went first the girl making the order tossed my mom's waffle cone up on the outside counter instead of handing it to her. So I asked if she could have a different one because that's so unsanitary (I was polite as well) she got upset and starts slamming things and getting impatient. Great selection of homemade ice cream, featuring both traditional (chocolate almond, White House) and non-traditional flavors (Superman, Playdough). We stayed across from the outlets for 4 days, and found ourselves at Katie's Korner on all four of those days.

It's located just a few easy miles from the outlets (one turn, and then a straight shot for about 3 miles), but it's in a rural setting, so it's not likely that you would just stumble across this. Well worth the visit is you find yourself at the outlets. Service was fast and friendly during all...
