Mazzaro Italian Market — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

This place doesn't even deserve to hold the name Mazzaro. It is NOTHING like the parent store, which is amazing. I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk but I should have known better when I saw the machine looked like the kind of instant coffee maker at a gas station. The menu says .70 upcharge for almond milk but I was ACTUALLY charged $1.50 on top of the already $5.50 cappuccino and then they ended up giving me a latte filled to the brim with dairy whole milk that I couldn't even drink and it was disgusting. I also got a blueberry muffin that tasted like it had packs of sugar sprinkled on top. The line was so long, I would have missed my flight to get my coffee replaced. Why even use the Mazzaro name if they're going to just do the same old basic stuff any no name airport vendor has; it's a bad look for Mazzaro's. I’d give this place zero if I could. I walked up to the register that had no line and started to order and the lady working the cash register helped the lady behind me first? Which makes zero sense. I waited and then she took my husbands order and gave us our total, I said, “could I please order?” She said with an attitude, well what do you want? I started ordering and she turned to her manager and complained about another customer so I had to repeat my order. Then she had the nerve to ask for a tip, she said you will select the number 1,2 or 3 for the tip, no mention of NOT tipping. She isn’t preparing the food, she takes the order, it’s prepared and you pick it up yourself. I’m sorry but I can’t justify a 25% tip for an overpriced airport sandwich. the girl at the cashier was not friendly at all and tried forcing me into a tip. i was paying half cash and she made sure to put the full total into the machine and told me i could pick options 1, 2 or 3 which were all tips. i made sure to click the fourth option which was other and gave $0. didn’t appreciate her trying to get a tip out of me and when i went back to the register to tell her i didn’t get my fountain cup she rudely asked me what i wanted it for and whether i had paid for one when i had just paid 30 seconds ago and was the only person in line. the fountain machine has been flat since the last time i was here 6 months ago. the food was also extremely overpriced especially for the quality. will not be returning- unfortunate since that is the only food in...
