**UPDATED Review:: Their service has improved. I LOVE their boiled crawfish. If you wait until March/April, the size of the crawfish are larger. However, if you pay with a credit/debit card, you will be paying a 4% fee of your bill to pay for their credit/debit card fees. I do not approve of them making their customers pay for their credit/debit fees. So make sure you bring cash so you don't pay that fee. If it wasn't for that, they would receive 5 stars. [When we owned and ran a seafood business, we NEVER made our customers pay our debit/credit card fees.] Original Review: Service was great! Crawfish are not a good size yet. They had a few good sized mixed in with a bunch of small. A lot of the small ones were mush. Their dipping sauce is good though. The flavor of the crawfish is really good. Their seasoning is good. The cup of gumbo is too expensive for the size. But the seafood gumbo tastes good. Fried pickled were the best we have ever had. I really wanted to order more of that. We will be back. Hubby mentioned trying a poboy next time. So that's good. I will be trying y'alls boiled crawfish again. ....Oh, were the chairs the same from the business that was there before them? The ones we sat in were a good size but needed some help. The booster chairs were sticky.

Me and my wife were on our way home back to Dallas and we really wanted some boiled crawfish so we got on Google and it had several places but we chose this one. It was in Pineville Louisiana which wasn't for our way since we were already in Alexandria so we took the turn to go over there. Once inside we looked over the menu and decided we would get 5 lb of the Crawfish a pound of the boil shrimp a link of sausage two corns and two potatoes. To my surprise it was actually pretty good. I really like the sausage it was different I had never had sausage that tasted like that before. As for the Crawfish they were seasoned really well but they were hard red crawfish that were always at the end of the season. But I enjoyed them anyway. My wife also picked up something that they had called praline chicken. It was very interesting it was like chicken tenders that had pecans and a sugary like flavor to it but overall it was pretty good. I was intrigued by the place so if I'm ever in Pineville Louisiana again I will be sure to stop in and try some of the other menu items. Ps I almost forgot the boil eggs.

Turns out I've never had truly good catfish before! Until today I've never really liked fried catfish, dense, muddy tasting, sometimes mushy.... This is not at all the case here. The fried catfish is light & airy with a satisfyingly crunchy shell - excellent flavor in the breading. I had the 3 meat combo - fried catfish, and blackened shrimp & duck (never had duck, gotta say it's good). I got it to go and pulled into a nearby church parking lot where I proceeded to eat all of it with my hands. Could have used a couple more napkins - maybe a complimentary roll of paper towels? (kidding) anyway, I was at the church so I stopped in for a quick baptism & cleaned myself right up. If they ask if you want sauce SAY YES. The ranch is good, but the other stuff... I forget the name, ask for an ice cream bucket of it. I want to bathe in it.

Was told to be there for pick up at 6:40 Pulled up to the pick up window and paid right at 6:40 they let me know it would be "just a few minutes"... 15 minutes later I had to knock on the Window only to have them have no clue what i was waiting on then say . " Yea its gonna be about 10 more minutes".. 10 more minutes go by, knock on the window AGAIN and asked them howong because we don't have time to just sit here so long, so they went to go check on it again.. the the "manager" comes and says "Literally its gonna be 10 minutes and you can wait on it or you can come back when you have time to wait on it" So again, said we would wait the 10 minutes... knocked on the window AGAIN and they were putting plates together now! Finally got out of there and myself or my family will not be back.much better options with Smackin Macks and Paradise Catfish. If you are visiting the area please visit one of these establishments instead of being disappointed in a meal you pay such a high price for.

We recently went with our family after a funeral and had a horrible wait time, our waitress was sweet that visit but the food took forever to reach our table and some of our family had to leave without eating. The whole establishment has become inadequate in customer service and satisfaction, the only person we have encountered that had any customer service abilities was the waitress from the...

ZERO STARS!!! I asked if the fish was catfish, the young lady in the drive thru said yes. The order came fresh and hot, however, after the first bite I knew it was not catfish. I called over the phone and the same young lady then said it was SWAI fish. I thanked her, went right back through the drive thru and requested a refund. She then said it was "catfish from overseas." That's quite misleading, especially since I asked specifically, with all of the craziness that went on a few years with businesses here misrepresenting the type of fish on their menu. Don't tell me it's catfish knowing there are many factors people may want to consider before consuming a fish that many believe are harmful to your health, tell me the truth and let me decide for myself. Another woman came to the window and asked for the food back, then asked if I wanted a refund or something else, REALLY?? I want a refund and I will not order anything else from you given the fact that you lied to me initially. No one offered at least an apology, only that the refund will be back on my card in 5 to 7 days. I am now literally sick to my stomach, in bed, I have no desire to eat for the remainder of the day. In the future, when I come to town, I'll stick to Smackin Mack's and...
