Food was good, for a local place, the interior wasn't too dirty wasn't too clean. The tables had some salt and scattered pepper flakes, but otherwise clean enough eat off of. The problem, at least for me, is being stared at and gawked at by the older less , polite way to say it is fundamental people, makes the otherwise mediocre experience less than desired. The staff is friendly, but obviously overworked and underpaid so the overall experience of a dine in establishment is strained at best.
Pay your employees a living wage, they will work harder, as for the local crowds of fellow patrons there's nothing that can be done there.
So the local people not withstanding the place was good enough to eat at again.... and isn't that the highest praise you can...
