Murphy's Steakhouse — Restaurant in Pittsburg

We had a fabulous meal here on our vacation to Pittsburg! The service was a little slow, but the food was delicious! We started with the crab cakes as an appetizer, which were generously portioned and very crab-y, but needed more sauce. The salads that came with our dinners were great and the maple vinaigrette was so good! I wish they bottled it so that I could take some home. They gave us a little palate cleanser in between that was very interesting (in a good way). I had the cajun beef appetizer with a half portion of mushroom risotto for my entree, a very good combo for someone who didn't want an 8oz or larger steak, and my mom had the pub steak, which she enjoyed but was not thrilled with, with mushroom risotto. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone...

This place is a true hidden gem. From the minute we walked in the door we knew that we were in the right place. The attention to detail from beginning to end made this dining experience simply amazing. The food was delicious and the only thing better here was the staff (including the owner - she is a doll) Do yourself a favor and have dinner here you won't be disappointed 😋 Thank you again for the great food and the unmatched hospitality girls.....we'll see...

Good food in a rustic farmhouse setting. The menu has a good selection of steakhouse fare including some vegetarian and vegan options and lighter fare. Food was good with good flavors and the soup of the day was probably the standout item of the night - curried carrot bisque. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size.
