WARNING: POEPLE FROM OUT OF STATE ARE NOT WELCOME! We made reservations for 6 at 5pm right when they open. We all drove out to the restaurant and were dealing with someone named "Sunshine". We went up to the front desk and said party for 6 and they led us to our table. But it turned out to be a single table for 2 and they turned around and very SARCASTICALLY said "oh I thought you said 2". I don’t see how they got 2 from 6 since they sound completely different and we clearly stated 6 when we called. They gave us some poor acting as if they planned this. We feel like they noticed the area code when we called. To note the restaurant was just about completely empty with only two others seated and instead of rectifying their mistake, they told us we had to leave. We were very upset with our experience, feeling very unwelcome. We even were planning on renting boats for the next day, but after this experience they were not getting our business. Other establishments in the area were FAR...

This place shouldn't be considered a 5 star restaurant 3rd time trying this place the waitress took her time had to ask for our drinks order soup the soup came out cold when our meals came out one was warm the other two were cool like the cook just left them sitting off too the side waiting for the the last plate to get finished you could hear a older female in the kitchen being very belligerent and arrogant to her staff most likely the owner by how she was speaking made for a very uncomfortable experience it's no wonder why the waitress look reluctant to be there, only decent thing about the entire experience is the view of the lake deffinatly not a 5 star restaurant experience with staff everything over priced typical for the area the Buck Rub up the rd is more worth the time and money to go grab a good meal never had a issue there and the buck rub are the only ones around who know how to cook a Steak in the area most likely will not be back to the...

Unfortunately, I was disappointed in our annual visit to the restaurant last night. We were a party of six. Three prime ribs were ordered from our party, two 12oz , one with mushrooms the other with onions, the third was an 8oz, no topping. Food came out and the 8 oz prime rib was missing. The waitress said she forgot to enter the 8 oz prime rib and couldn’t correct the mistake because they were now out of prime rib. She apologized and said people make mistakes and involved two of the surrounding tables into my missing prime rib. Which I understand, yes people do make mistakes, but no one made it “right”. She basically made the error all about herself. She made me feel badly for her error. So, I had to wait about 20 minutes for NY strip while everyone else in my party ate. Management should have came to our table and made it right. They didn’t. No comp for one dinner , no free...

My husband and I enjoyed dinner here for my 25th birthday last night. It was a wonderful experience. Last time we were up here for our honeymoon but it was during mud season and everything was closed. We were happy to be able to have dinner here this time around. Our server, Melanie, was cheerful, helpful, and very sweet. The food was delicious and came out perfectly, as far as timing. There was enough time to enjoy each component (appetizer, soup/salad, entree, etc.) before the next item came out. I would highly suggest this restaurant! It's homey, the tables are close enough that we enjoyed conversation with a few couples who were also vacationing, but separated enough to have private conversation, too. It was an overall beautiful dining experience and we will be back every time we make the trip up here! Thank you Rainbow Grille!

Overall cute place but overpriced for what is offered. Firstly we came at night and couldn’t believe how dark it was in the parking lot, they have lights leading to the entrance but it isn’t enough. The inside was cute and our waitress was polite but the food just wasn’t up to par. Our beer tasted a tiny bit flat and the bread/Butter was terrible. The shrimp cocktail was good but wish there were more shrimp. We had French onion and lobster bisque but the French onion wasn't cooked right and the cheese was just a hard layer on top that to break spilled most the soup annoying. Lastly, the lucky duck I ordered was very good, but their steak was sub-par and tasted more like it just came out of a microwave. Probably won’t come back here but was worth a try.

This is the place where I had the best prime rib ever in my life. My husband always wants to come back to Pittsburgh NH just to have prime rib here. The streak was just melted in my mouth. Not talking about the juice, so flavorful from beef and rosemary herb seasoning (and more which I cannot identify). Will definitely comeback just to have the steak. The menu has a lot more options and we wanted to come back for lunch the next they but they were full booked.
