Tavern At The A — Restaurant in Pittsfield

The minute you walk in your hit with a musty, mildew smell- I should have left then but I was meeting friends. We come here because we like to play Keno and there isn’t much open on Monday nights. I ordered the grilled veggie wrap- there was a spinach leaf, sautéed onion and I think a pepper- mostly wrap- good flavor but not enough veggies. I ordered sweet potato fries- they gave me 8 fries. This meal was 15$. My friend had the cheeseburger salad- lots of brown lettuce- not fresh at all. The waitress who came in at 5 was very nice and attentive. Looking at the photos online it seemed like a nice place to eat. Went to have an early dinner/late lunch around 3pm. They had live music and the stage was right near all the tables. The music was so loud my family and I couldn't even have a conversation with each other. We ended up leaving without eating. If there is going to be live music at that time of day the volume should be much lower or the stage further away from the tables. After hitting some golf balls on the range, I remembered I was on my own for dinner, so I looked over the menu of food items and made the decision to have the burger special and the home made Tavern fries.
