I really REALLY wanted to love this place. An old mom and pop shop type look, with extremely friendly service. I even thought being cash only would make them more homey/old school. However, I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in my sub. 😢 To start, the bread is so hard, it actually locked my jaw and I really want to cry and leave work because of it. I threw the second half of my sandwich away. I tried to fight through the pain, but it just wasn't worth suffering. As you can see from the photos, there were only 3 slices of meat on each half. It felt like I had a bread sandwich with a side of turkey to drape over top. Asked for extra extra mayo, barely any was on there. I even tried my husband's Italian sub to try and give them the benefit of doubt. It was okay, nothing was exciting or stood out to me, his was hard as a rock as well. I literally had to bite down and pull/rip the bread to take a single bite. I'm at work and luckily I had a frozen meal as back up to pop into the fridge. To say I was extremely disappointed doesn't even grasp my feelings right now. They have amazing reviews and I really don't ever even want to come back. 😢

While traveling off the major highways through some of the nicest open country in this state to make a Craigslist purchase, I happened upon this place and decided to get a sandwich there. At first I thought it was a little pricey until I got it. Probably the best cheese steak I can remember having. Be sure to get the fried onions and roasted peppers and it was plenty large enough to fill me up! Mom and daughters that run the place were really nice too. I would highly recommend this place. I love Anderson's Country Store in Pittsgrove, NJ. This store offers so much to the customers. I love the look of Anderson's Country Store. The employees are always helpful and very friendly. Anderson's has fresh deli subs, candy, soda beverages, coffee, potato chips and much more. They have been open for a long time and I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. Anderson's Country Store also has ice cream,so if you're in the area stop on in.

First of all I’ve been a customer for last 7 years service and food was great when Judy was the owner. The past few months service and order accuracy has declined. The sandwhiches have become skimpier and prices have gone up so, basically less food for more money. The thing is that there is a heavyset girl who works there on fridays who needs some training on her customer service skills. I ordered sandwhiches on Friday when I picked them up the order was wrong so this girl tried to correct the order but I left and star ted to unwrap the sandwhiches I realized they were still wrong. When I called back to let her know that the sandwhiches were still wrong for the second time all she could say is I don’t know what to tell you,and have a great day sarcasticky! So, because she doesn’t know what to tell me they lost a loyal customer. For Katie you should be mindful of the people you hire because this fatty mcpatty does not care about your...

The food is delicious and I recently discovered the hot roast beef sub and was looking forward to having one for dinner however, they close at 8:00pm and I called at 7:03 pm to order one and was told that the grill was “off” and did I want a cold sub? Ummm-NO! I don’t understand why they have to turn of their grill an hour before closing and I don’t understand why they won’t allow people to order what they offer on the menu until 7:45 ish and turn off the grill when they actually close at 8:00pm. It’s ridiculous and a very poor business practice. I’ve been buying sandwiches from Anderson’s for 32 years and they couldn’t make me a hot sandwich because I called 3 minutes after 7:00!? I think I’m done being loyal since they certainly aren’t concerned about being loyal and accommodating to lifetime customers over 3 lousy...
