I placed an order through door dash to be picked up because of a coupon that was offered. Usually I just call the store and all goes well I live close go regularly. Anyways I placed the order at 9:25 and the store closes at 10:00. I know working in the food industry before you are always in a hurry to get everything cleaned and turned off. But it’s apart of it. Tonight when we showed up they told us they never received the order ( door dash sends the order and they will have a module to confirm) my order sat on confirm for 10 minutes and I decided to call and just make sure they got it. The phone rang and rang and rang assuming purposefully . So we decided to just go to the store and arrived 20 minutes before close. The employees stated they never received the order at all... then proceeded to say there’s nothing they can do because everything is shut off. I ordered almost 40 minutes ago and they still have 20 minutes to make one pizza. As I’m leaving the store all the sudden the door dash app tells me my order is ready. We ordered a pizza online at 5:30 ish. At 7:00 I called the after not receiving anything. It was gonna be a 40 min delivery time. They said they screwed it up and were making a new pizza. I asked them how long it would be. They said 35 min. At 8:00 I still hadn’t received anything so I called them. I said I wanted to cancel the order. The guy had to get his manager.
