The Victorian & The Village Bakery — Restaurant in Plainfield

Easy to drive by this place and not know about the magical experience that awaits inside. We found on google maps and I wasn’t sure if we were at the right place. I’m sure if they had a simple sign out by the street they’d have a line down the street. I got a 3 egg omelet with 4 fixings of my choosing, with hash browns and freshly made cinnamon raisin bread. Honestly, best breakfast joint I’ve been to in a long time. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The coffee was great too. We also got the pancakes, French toast, and scrambled eggs with hash browns, and toast. Next time we go (soon I hope) we’ll also leave with a couple loafs of their delicious bread. I wish this place were closer to home, but will be a new must stop in our future travels. Such a great business model, I wish we had more places serving love and kindness along with such awesome food in more places. Really can’t say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for a great meal, look no further, definitely work stopping in. Keep up...

My daughters and I had breakfast at the Victorian Restaurant for the first time today. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We tried 6 different items on the menu and everything was amazing. The corned beef hash was out of this world! The bread, muffins and cookies were delicious too. This breakfast was by far the best we’ve ever had. We’re going back very soon to try their lunch menu. They have the best staff, best food and a bright and beautiful atmosphere. The Victorian is our new favorite place to eat. I’ll be recommending it...

april 30 2021.....we set out to try a new restaurant for breakfast on the way to foxwoods. This amazing place came up online. "The Victorian". Amazing because the experience was out of this world. We were happy to eat and be among some of the best company we have had in a long time (great conversations). The staff is so friendly kind and smart. A real joy to be around. The food was also excellent. I cant believe we found this hidden gem....Our home state of RI needs a place as awesome as this one...
