Update: 4/10/2022 Came here recently with my wife on our way back from Philly. Hadn’t been here since the pandemic and was pleasantly surprised to see that this place was still here. Ordered the same thing I always do and quality is still good. I’m so glad this little gem of a place is still in business. Prices have gone up a little but so has everything and most restaurants since the pandemic.
A hidden gem. Ok, so it’s not one of those fancy Tokyo or New York quality sushi but then again, you’re not paying $500 for dinner (per person) either. I always eat the same thing here — the battered squid dinner plate or lunch, if you’re having it at lunch, with a squid roll and it comes with salad, too. My wife orders the Sushi Boy A or B. After calling in my order with a lot of confusion and spelling things out I was asked for payment. The person who took my order wasn't sure how to use the credit card machine and mentioned he would write down my credit card number to enter it later. I refused because I didn't want my credit card info floating around at some restaurant for anyone to pick up. Finally that's resolved then I get a call back 5 mins later asking if I will be tipping by credit card or cash because they closing soon and need to find finalize their charges at 7:30. They close at 9:00. There is some shady stuff going on there
Takes them over an hour to deliver and it's about what you would expect...
Read moreI ordered food here for delivery. it was good and the price was decent compared to other japanese resto. but unfortunately the delivery service was sooooo slow. I ordered at 12 noon and recieved the food at 2:10 pm..2 hrs of waiting for your lunch is not fun at all. i called for like 4 times asking where the food is but the lady who took the order says the resto is busy and she cannot contact the driver..what an experience! Maybe just dont do delivery if you cannot deliver in 30-45 mins waiting time. The food is not anymore hot especially the udon soup that i ordered. Just ashamed coz food taste good. Management needs to look into this...
