It was our first time visiting Keel Farms. It was a nice lunch on a beautiful sunny day!
We were greeted right away. Breanna was our server. She was great! She gave us the rundown on how to pull up the drink menu using the QR code. She also answered our questions regarding serving sizes. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.
We decided to share a flight. He picked Curley's Irish cider and a Mango cider. I selected the Dry Blueberry wine and King Cake cider. It's great that you can mix and match a flight of wine, beer, and cider. We ended up liking the Curley's Irish cider the best. The taste was reminiscent of ciders we had at our neighborhood pub in the UK, only this one was more carbonated and not as crisp. We would definitely get this one again. I also enjoyed the King Cake cider because of the unique flavor. My husband didn't care for the sweet mango.
As for the wine, I think it's a personal preference. I've tried some of their other wines (ranging from sweet to dry) at restaurants, and when gifted a bottle from friends & family. It's just not for me. However, I do like their cider. The Elderberry one is another good choice.
Our lunch order was pretty good. We really liked the Berry Salad. There was a generous amount of fresh strawberries and blueberries. Everything blended well together with the strawberry Riesling vinaigrette. We shared the salad along with 2 appetizers. I think the Beef & Cheese Empanadas were our favorite. The cilantro lime aioli just took it to the next level. I don't know where they get them from, or who makes them. They are a good size with lots of filling. It was actually quite tasty. I'd get it again. We discovered at the end of our meal that they give military discounts. That's always good to know, and very appreciated.
What's cool is that you can take a stroll around the farm before or after eating. We visited the goats, and saw the grape vines. They have winery tours. I'd like to book this one day. We didn't get to do or see everything, so I'm sure they offer much more than we saw. We did see vendors setting things up for the Blueberry Festival that occurs every weekend in April (except Easter Sunday).
It's definitely a nice place to visit in the springtime for strawberry or blueberry season. Check it out if you're...

From the moment I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere was palpable. The outdoor patio, adorned with string lights, set the stage for a relaxing evening. Inside, the tasting room buzzed with friendly chatter and the enticing aroma of fresh food.
Drinks: I indulged in a cider flight to sample their diverse offerings. The Strawberry-Lime Cider stood out with its refreshing balance of sweetness and tang, while the Mango Cider delivered a tropical punch that was both bold and smooth. Their Blueberry Muffin Wheat beer was a delightful surprise, capturing the essence of its namesake in a glass.
Food: The menu is a testament to farm-to-table freshness. I couldn’t resist the Spicy Gator Nuggets, which were perfectly crispy and paired wonderfully with a sriracha aioli. The Wine Smash Burger, topped with black raspberry merlot caramelized onions, was a flavor explosion that left me craving more.
Activities: Beyond the food and drink, Keel Farms offers a plethora of activities. I joined a guided tour that provided insights into their cider-making process, and even got to meet some of the friendly farm animals. Live music filled the air, adding to the already vibrant atmosphere.
Final Thoughts: Keel Farms Agrarian Ale + Cider is more than just a place to eat and drink; it’s an experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this gem is worth the visit. I left with a bottle of their Elderberry Cider to savor at home and memories that will surely...
Read moreI went on a busy Saturday night, so that may have impacted the service. The decor is really cute, and the servers were all friendly and nice. However, the host was rude. I told him that it was our group's first time here, and I asked him where the vineyard, farm, eating areas are and he just said "outside" and proceeded to provide one-word answers when I asked for more info. When I called him out on it, he said he was just kidding and then handed me a map. Not a great start.
The wine tasting was a great price - only $15 for I think 8 different types of wine. But I don't really like sweet wine. I should have read their menu ahead of time. My favorite is a dry and smooth Cabernet Sauvignon, so not a huge fan of sweet. There was one dry wine in the tasting, but it was still pretty sweet. The wine just tasted like juice.
Our group also did a flight of their IPA, cider, a pilsner, and I can't remember the other 2. They were ok. My friend ordered the flatbread, and it seemed like it had been sitting out under a heat lamp or something. We also ordered loaded fries, and they were also ok.
Overall, cute place. Food and drinks are just ok. We didn't order a lot of food though, so I will come back to try more of the food but not the alcoholic drinks. I do love that the food is farm to table, and everything is mostly...
