Uncle Johnny's — Restaurant in Plaquemine

Uncle Johnny's has some fantastic food. Never a complaint about the wings, pizza/calzones, burgers, or pasta. The food is all amazing.

So why the 2 stars? The kitchen is horribly slow. It takes 30mins to an hour to get food. Multiple times I'm told to give them 45 mins for a salad order and it's still not done when you get there. Have waited an hour for a pizza that wasn't done. Today I called and placed an order and was told that they were not taking orders due to the kitchen being an hour behind.

I ordered pizzas from this place and I was very upset when I got home because my pizzas were burnt underneath. The service was nice but I was surprised about my pizzas. Now, I have ordered from here a few times and I was always satisfied. But to get my pizzas on yesterday and they were burnt and did not taste right at all was very disappointing to me because I love Uncle Johnny Pizza, but now I'm not so sure anymore. Tried to place an order today, Saturday July 10th. No answer on the phone. Ordered Pizza Hut instead. So much for the fab reviews! Husband tried the phone and someone finally answered. Gave the phone to me and I placed the order. 2 of the “best hamburgers” and 2 chocolate chip cookies. Fries came with burgers. Cost was $20. Burgers were not seasoned, tomatoes were gross. Best thing was the pickles. Cookies were broken and fries were dried out and ice cold! Never again! Thanks...
