Worst customer service I’ve ever received. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, in fact this is the first time I’m writing a bad review ever in my life. Place was dead, sat down next to father In law who had already been there and had his drink and bartender came up had an entire conversation with him about her life problems then walked away without asking me what I wanted for a drink. My father in law spends a great deal of money at this place every single Sunday…… we met him there on our way through town after a trip we went on with our pup who by the way is small, doesn’t bark, and pretty much just lays down and chills.. We never brought him inside the bar. My fiancé stayed outside with him while I ordered our drinks. I then sat outside with my drink l, that I finally got after they acknowledged I was there. PWhile sitting outside minding our own business, multiple people who were playing vball came up loving on my pup. Soon after, the bartender came out, called me “honey” which wasn’t appreciated as I’m likely twice her age. and said I had to leave because my pup was with me and they serve food. I said, “that’s why I’m outside and no one has food out here,” she said, “Sorry, you have to leave.”I asked her then to reimburse me for my drink I hadn’t started drinking yet and she gave me a dirty look, said nothing and walked back into the bar. She then proceeded to charge my fiancé who had no idea what had happened for my drink. I will never step foot into this bar again. Rudest bartenders and it’s sad because we loved meeting our family here every Sunday...

Not a great experience, unfortunately. We ordered cream of broccoli soup and it came out cold in a styrofoam cup. We let the waitress know and she did apologize and took the soups. She brought them back out, one was full and one was half empty which she noticed and then said one was half empty when it was brought back. It wasn’t and nonetheless why wouldn’t you just give us new soups? Also, was it like microwaved or how was it warmed up? Yuck. The fish fry was okay. We did notice a bunch of butter on our plates for the dinner rolls we never got. We let the waitress know and she was apologetic but by that time we were done eating and we didn’t feel like chasing her down again. She was busy running the bar and she was very nice, however, as far as customer service goes, I would have not charged us for the soups or at least just made us new ones. It’s a bummer because it is money spent for subpar food and not the best experience. I gave it a 2 star instead 1 because she was genuinely busy...

This is my second time here in the last 3 weeks. The menu isn’t huge but what they serve is worth the visit, especially for a small hole in the wall. I had the steak burrito on one visit and the chicken burrito on this visit and it comes with two authentic style red and green salsas that will remind you of the kind served in Chicago. The bartender, Katelynn is awesome, she is so nice and attentive, and is really friendly. They also have pitchers of beer, always a plus.
